The room is about 9 square meters in size and equipped with a bed, a chair, a desk, a cupboard, a
wardrobe as well as a sink. The total rent, including internet, GEZ, etc. does not exceed 340€.
The WG is in the souterrain of a house, directly at the tram stop "Burgstraße" in the north of
Handschuhsheim. With the 5 and 25 you can go directly into the city center as well as get to the
Neuenheimer Feld in around 10-15 minutes. Aldi, Rewe, DM and other stores are close. The Odenwald
is next to the house and offers the opportunity to go hiking or running.
We are Jinyang, Santiago and Leon, all PhD students at DKFZ and Heidelberg University.
Jinyang is from China, and spends a lot of time working out at the gym.
Santiago does his PhD in physics and loves cooking complicated Colombian meals.
Leon likes going running outside on Sunday mornings and has a penchant for classic books.
We often hang out in the kitchen together after work and occasionally go to events in the city.
This summer, we installed a beamer, which we can use to watch movies or play games on the PS4.
We have a well equipped kitchen with a stove, a microwave, a dishwasher and a fridge.
There is a washing machine as well as a couch within a small living room. We have a cleaning plan and
share communal items such as spices, etc.
Being mindful of each other is something that is very important to us.
Because we are all working and have to get up early, it is important to us that the quiet hours at night are respected.
We are flexible with the moving-in date depending on your preferences.
