Die WG befindet sich im 2. OG eines Mehrfamilienhauses. Wir haben ein gemeinsames Badezimmer (Dusche, Toilette, Waschmaschine) und eine gemeinsame Küche (Herd, Ofen, Kühlschrank mit Gefrierfach, Spülmaschine,...). Von der Küche aus kommt man auf unseren tollen Balkon mit Sitzecke und einigen Pflanzen. Hinter dem Haus haben wir einen Fahrradständer.
Da Luisa im September auszieht, suchen wir ab dem 01.09. eine*n Mitbewohner*in. Das Zimmer ist durch die Fenster schön hell. Es gibt drei Einbauschränke in denen du deine Sachen verstauen kannst. Ansonsten ist das Zimmer unmöbliert.
The flat is located on the 2nd floor of an apartment building. We have a shared bathroom (shower, toilet, washing machine) and a shared kitchen (stove, oven, fridge with freezer, dishwasher,...). From the kitchen you can get to our nice balcony with sitting area and some plants. Behind the house we have a bike rack.
Since Luisa will move out in September, we are looking for a new flatmate from the 1st September. The room is nice and bright because of the windows. There are three built-in closets where you can store your things. Otherwise, the room is unfurnished
Die WG liegt in Rohrbach. Von der Wohnung aus braucht man nur ca. 3 min zu Fuß zur nächsten Straßenbahn-Haltestelle (Rohrbach Markt oder Ortenauerstraße). Von dort aus fährt man ca. 13 min mit der Bahn zum Bismarckplatz und ca. 20 min zur Uni oder zur PH. An der Haltestelle Rohrbach Markt gibt es außerdem eine VRN Nextbike Station, falls du kein eigenes Fahrrad hast.
Die nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeit (Penny) ist ca. 5 min zu Fuß entfernt. Außerdem in der Nähe, ca. 5 min mit dem Fahrrad, befindet sich ein Einkaufskomplex mit Rewe, Aldi, Lidl und DM.
In wenigen Gehminuten kommt man zum Marktplatz, an dem sich mehrere kleine Restaurants und Cafes befinden, außerdem das Einwohnermeldeamt und eine Postfiliale.
Nach wenigen hundert Metern gelangt man in die Natur, perfekt um Spazieren zu gehen, zu Joggen oder im Sommer ein Picknick zu machen.
The flat is located in Rohrbach. From the flat, it only takes about 3 minutes to walk to the nearest tram stop (Rohrbach Markt or Ortenauerstraße). From there, it takes about 13 minutes by tram to Bismarckplatz and about 20 minutes to the university or the PH. There is also a VRN Nextbike rental at the Rohrbach Markt stop if you don't have your own bike.
The nearest grocery store (Penny) is about a 5-minute walk away. Also nearby, about 5 min by bike, is a shopping complex with Rewe, Aldi, Lidl and DM.
In a few minutes' walk you can reach the market square, where there are several small restaurants and cafés, as well as the residents' registration office and a post office.
After a few hundred metres you are in nature, perfect for going on a walk, jogging or having a picnic in summer.
Deine neuen Mitbewohner sind Jakob (23) und Franzi (25). Jakob studiert Physik und versorgt die WG mit Cocktails und Pizza. Ansonsten ist er ein ziemlicher Fantasynerd. Franzi macht gerade ihre Masterarbeit in Biochemie. In ihrer Freizeit kümmert sie sich gerne um ihre Pflanzen, oder ist mit Freund*innen beim Kaffeetrinken oder in Bars unterwegs.
Generell haben wir ein entspanntes WG-Leben und unternehmen gerne was zusammen. Die gemeinsamen Aktivitäten sind immer bunt gemischt, vom gemeinsamen Kochen, Filmeabenden, Spieleabenden, etc. Außerdem sind öfter Freunde von uns zu Besuch und wir sitzen oft auch einfach gemeinsam in der Küche oder auf dem Balkon und quatschen. Wir würden uns natürlich freuen, wenn du auch am WG-Leben interessiert bist :)
Wir sind politisch eher links/grün und progressiv eingestellt, es wäre schön, wenn du ähnlich eingestellt bist.

Your new flatmates are Jakob (23) and Franzi (25). Jakob studies physics and provides cocktails and pizza for everyone. He’s also a huge fantasy nerd. Franzi is currently doing her master's thesis in biochemistry. In her free time, she likes to take care of her plants or go out with friends for coffee or to bars.
In general, we have a relaxed "WG-life" and like to do things together. The activities we do together are always varied, from cooking together, movie nights, game nights, etc. In addition, friends of ours often visit and we often just sit together in the kitchen or on the balcony and chat. Of course, we would be happy if you are also interested in engaging in these kinds of things :)
We are politically more left/green and progressive, it would be nice if you are similarly minded.

Also: internationals welcome :) Jakob and Franzi are both german, however we are used to talking english in the flat, so it does not matter, if you do not speak german.
