The place
The Obermühle Steudnitz is located in Dorndorf-Steudnitz, 13km north of Jena in the Saale Valley. There is a railway station (directly between Jena and Halle/Leipzig) around the corner in Dornburg; the Saaletal Cycle Trail passes almost directly and the Saale in front of the front door invites you to paddle. The Obermühle is a partially refurbished DreiSeitHof with a large plot with Bach – the comments from our visitors are enough from “That has a lot of potential” to “There you have done something” to “very good work”. Slowly we find our relaxation with it – but would like to stay there and work with you and you. There are currently six people in the main house – there is room for nine to ten. Our goal would be to become more timely. We are an agriculturally shaped farm project with adjacent, solidar vegetable fermentation and are politically active in this area, bring us in and
try us at the agricultural turnaround. The farm and the adjacent land are deprivatized and part of the arable syndrome.

Der Ort
Die Obermühle Steudnitz liegt in Dorndorf-Steudnitz, 13km nördlich von Jena im Saaletal. Es
gibt eine Bahnstation (auf direktem Weg zwischen
Jena und Halle/Leipzig) um die Ecke in Dornburg; der
Saaletal-Radweg führt fast direkt vorbei und die
Saale vor der Haustür lädt zum Paddeln ein.
Die Obermühle ist ein teilweise sanierter DreiSeitHof
mit großem Grundstück mit Bach – die Kommentare
unserer Besucher:innen reichen von „Das hat viel
Potential“ über „Da habt ihr euch ja was
vorgenommen“ bis zu „Ganz schön viel Arbeit“.
Langsam finden wir unsere Entspannung damit –
möchten aber gerne dran bleiben und mit dir und
euch weiter werkeln. Im Haupthaus haben momentan
sechs Menschen Platz – perspektivisch gibt es Raum
für neun bis zehn. Unser Ziel wäre es, zeitnah mehr
zu werden. Wir sind ein landwirtschaftlich
geprägtes Hofprojekt mit anliegender,
solidarischer Gemüsegärtnerei und sind in
diesem Bereich politisch aktiv, bringen uns ein und
versuchen uns an der Agrarwende. Der Hof und das
angrenzende Land sind entprivatisiert und Teil des
Ackersyndikates.

verschiedene Aktivitäten Raum haben -
Hofcafés, Konzerte, Kino, Lesungen und wer
weiss, was uns noch gemeinsam einfallen
wird
hast vielleicht selbst einen landwirtschaftlichen Bezug / magst
mitgärtnern oder deinen eigenen Betriebszweig aufmachen – Flächen finden sich bestimmt in Zukunft auch noch
weitere
ziehst klare Grenzen zu rechten Tendenzen,
Rassismus, Sexismus, Querdenken,
Wissenschaftsleugnung, Antisemitismus und
diskriminierendem Verhalten jeder Art und
bist offen im Umgang mit unseren vielfältigen
