The room is located in a renovated old building with very high ceilings, beautiful floor and large windows. The base area is 12 square meters, but additional 4 square meters can be used by an intermediate plane. The wardrobe and ceiling lamp are free of charge in the room.
If necessary, the pre-rente would also leave a sofa, a desk, a slat rust, a 1.40m mattress ( purchased in October 2024) and Plissees on the window against a detachment in the room.
Our WG has an optimal location: in front of our front door is the Mathystraße stop, which is why you are in a few minutes at the railway station, at the Europaplatz, at the ZKM and at the Staatstheater. You need about 10 minutes walk to the city centre. FH/PH and KIT can be reached by bike within 5-10 minutes.
There are numerous shopping possibilities directly opposite the WG: Penny, Baker, Flower Shop, Sparkasse and even a secondhandshop is on the ground floor of our house. Several dining options, such as snacks, ice cream parlors and various restaurants can be reached within minutes.
Tatsächlich wirst du insgesamt sieben (7) neue Mitbewohnis haben. Das liegt daran, dass wir durch den Flur einer anderen 3er-WG laufen müssen, um zu unserer Wohnung zu kommen. Das mag anfangs zwar gewöhnungsbedürftig sein, dafür hat man einen kürzeren Weg, falls man die Nachbarn mal nach Mehl oder einem Handmixer fragen muss.
In "unserer" WG, hat sich im letzten halben Jahr viel verändert, somit wird sich das Zusammenleben neugestalten.
Mit dir wohnen bleiben Alice (Erzieherin), Alexandra (Lösungsentwicklerin), Luca (Master Elektrotechnik), und Vera Lynn (Bachelor Architektur) - wir sind also die perfekte Mischung aus Berufstätigen- und Studenten-WG.
In der Vergangenheit haben wir gerne zusammen gekocht und dabei auch ein Gläschen Wein oder Bier getrunken. Für gemeinsame Spiele- oder Serien/Filmeabende sind wir fast immer zu begeistern, geben uns aber auch den nötigen Freiraum, falls dieser gewünscht ist. Ansonsten fanden sich diverse Konstellationen für sportliche Aktivitäten: von bouldern, über Fitnessstudio, joggen, schwimmen, tanzen bis hin zu wandern.
Auch wenn unsere Küche nicht die größte ist, dient sie regelmäßig zum gemeinsamen Prokrastinieren, Motivieren und Stunden Verquatschen.
Damit sich jeder in der WG wohlfühlen kann, haben wir einen wöchentlich wechselnden Putzplan.

The WG is generally very well equipped and has two refrigerators, a dishwasher, a washing machine, a basement compartment and the possibility to place a bicycle in the courtyard covered.
We have all individual contracts with the house administration. This means, on the one hand, that you can never be thrown out spontaneously when a roommate pulls out and that you never sit at the expense; On the other hand, a rental period of one year is required (which, however, could always be bypassed with a new renter).
If our WG agrees to you, we are happy to receive a message in which you tell something about you and call your favorite dish.
Due to the upcoming holidays, it is only possible for us to carry out sightseeing from 8 January. We will nevertheless return as soon as possible :)
