Bright, sunny and cosy ~16qm room (unfurnished) in a shared flat with the view away from the main street. Although the location is close to the airport, you can barely hear airplanes taking off or landing - usually they depart to another direction. So the room is really quiet. The kitchen and bathroom were renovated just 3 years ago and looks really modern. We also have a dishwasher in the kitchen, so there are no piles of dirty dishes in the sink! :) There are some place for storage and a washing machine together with a dryer down in the basement. No crazy washing plans - you can feel free to wash whenever the machines are empty (And they really are empty quite often, so no problem with that). There is also a bike storage room in the basement.
Rent payment includes heating and Internet. Serafe and power has to be paid every 3 month - its around 30CHF additionaly every 3 month.
Deposit is 1472.00CHF
The flat is outside Zurich city, but the connection is really good - only 2-3 minutes walking distance to the train station, it takes around 7 minutes to get to Oerlikon and around 15 minutes travel time to reach Zurich main station by train. There are also good connections to the airport - only 7 Minutes by bus (bus station is right outside the door), or 25 minutes walking distance.
There is a pharmacy just around the corner, 2 "Spar" Grocery Stores and a cinema just around 3 minutes walking distance. Migros is also just 10 minutes away. The city is small, so you can easily get around by foot. In the center you will find different restaurant, fitness studios and other attractions. You can also go swimming in Kloten City Pool (Indoors and outdoors) - also just 5 minutes walking distance. And as a resident of Kloten city you will be getting a really cheap season ticket ^^ Adventure Park (Trees Climbing) is also just around the corner in the forest, where you can also go jogging or do some other kind of sports.
We are: Tomas (28yo, from Lithuania) and Daniel (23yo, from Italy, Tyrol) - I live here since last summer and Daniel moved in last autumn. We are both working and living our own lives most of the time, but still, as it is a shared flat community, we sometimes either cook or go out together to spend some time in the nature. I am quite active in my free time and I enjoy spending it in the mountains. In winter I usually go for snowboarding trips, in summer I am doing some water sports like Windsurfing or go hiking. I also play several musical instruments, but I am just doing it as a hobby, so not too often. I am also very open for new activities and enjoy learning something new. Daniel is interested in spiritual developement and loves deep and meaningful conversations. We are also open for some games, new sport activities or plane spotting (As we live so close to an international airport ^^) depending on our free time :)
We are looking for a nice flatmate, male of female, non-smoker, who is either working or studying Masters/PhD and is prepared to move in for at least 1 year. We are no cleaning-freaks and we don't have strict plans for cleaning the flat, but still you should be prepared to take care of your stuff in the kitchen and bathroom and leave the room as you found it just to maintain a nice and clean flat.
