Dear future roommate,

Our flatmate, Bill, is moving out so we are looking for a new person to move in.

I've only lived here for half a year or so and already I can't even put into words everything that makes life here worth living. Maybe first the hard facts:

You're moving into a shared flat with 6 people (+ cat) in a house that was built for 7, but in the lockdown autumn and when one of the roommates moved out, it was decided to have a living room and direct access to the garden.

The U-bahn (line 18) is exactly 1km away, as is a Rewe and a Lidl, and the Kalscheuren train station is 2 km away, - a bike is worth it! By bike you can be anywhere you want to go in Cologne in 30 minutes, by train you can get to Barbarossaplatz in 10 minutes, Neumarkt in 18 minutes (etc.)
Who are your future flatmates? From the ground floor to the second floor: Afshin, Lina, Laura, Vincent, Mouaz (me), and our lovely cat Max! + you possibly.

As we have been together for a relatively short time, we are trying to organize things together as we are settling into a good groove. What do I mean by that? We agreed that we would always get together on the last weekend of the month so that we don't always have meetings only when something bothers us and there is also room for the little things. Like the suggestion to do activities together more often. Now we meet for movie nights and in the future we want to climb together more often, maybe go hiking, and do anything else that we can think of and that everyone enjoys.
But the rule here is always: no pressure! If you don't feel like it, even spontaneously, then there is no pressure here - everyone knows it from themselves and that should also have its space.
But now back to the hard facts:
- We have a kitchen where you learn to play Tetris with each other, but that works quite well.
- There are two fridges and three freezer compartments. You share one of the fridges with two peeps, in which you have two compartments + a shared vegetable compartment, and you share a freezer compartment with Bill.
- There is a toilet on each floor (so three in total)
- There is a shower on the ground floor, and a large bathroom with a shower and bathtub on the first floor.
- And there is a basement where everyone has their own space - if you clear it out, it could be turned into a rave keller.

Well, the most important thing for last: our shared apartment is in the middle of a row of three houses. To the right and left of us there are two more shared apartments of 7 people with whom we share the driveway and the garden. But that all sounds much louder than it is.
If you have read this far and are interested, please write "I want to be a Ronny!" at the beginning of your message to me (otherwise your message will be ignored as I assume you didn't read the text fully)
Oh, there is a lake very close by that belongs to anglers, but you can still jump in it, - the Hundewiese is very close, which invites you to have a picnic, dance, play, sing, and watch the sunset in the summer. There are also raves here.
And the rest, I would say, will be discussed at the casting!
See you then,
Mouaz
