Während ich mich auf mein Examen in Halle vorbereite, wird mein Zimmer in der Ludwigstraße für knapp sechs Monate frei. Das Zimmer ist, trotz Nordausrichtung, sehr hell, relativ ruhig, und hat noch einen schönen (nicht funktionierenden) Kamin. Das Zimmer hat ungefähr 16 qm. Ich werde meine Möbel drin lassen, dazu gehören das Bett (140x200), ein Schreibtisch, ein Regal, Kleiderschrank und kleine Kommode.

I'm moving to Halle to focus on passing my law exam and while I'm living there, I would love to sublet my room. The flat is located in the Ludwigstraße. The room has two big windows and is very bright, pretty quiet and has an old (non working) chimney. The room is about 16 square meters. I'm leaving my furniture in the room, which is a bed (140x200cm), a shelf including some books, desk, wardrobe and a small dresser.
Die Wohnung liegt ziemlich am Anfang der Ludwigstraße und hier hat man alles was man braucht. Die Haltestelle "Einertstaße" ist zwei Minuten entfernt. Diverse Supermärkte, Essmöglichkeiten, Bars, Parks etc. sind fußläufig zu erreichen.
The flat is near the start of Ludwigstraße and is close to everything a person needs. The closest public transportation stop is "Einertstraße" which is two minutes away. You can also walk to different supermarkets, food places, bars, parks etc. from the flat.
Ich wohne hier eigentlich mit meinem Freund zusammen. Wir haben aus den zwei Zimmern zwei Schlafzimmer gemacht. Hans ist gebürtiger Leipziger und kennt sich entsprechend gut aus in der Stadt. Er arbeitet Vollzeit in einer Agentur und geht ein paar mal die Woche nach der Arbeit zum Sport. Er kann extrem gut kochen und kocht ein bis zwei mal im Monat mit seinen Kumpels in der Küche. Er ist ein guter Mitbewohner, vor allem nach der Arbeit mag er es eher ruhig und entspannt. Wir haben eine App für den Putzplan verwendet und haben uns im Wochenrhythmus abgewechselt. Das hat soweit gut funktioniert. Hans kennt sich auch noch ein bisschen in der Partyszene aus und kann gute Tipps geben wo guter Techno am Wochenende läuft, falls du daran Interesse hast.
I actually live here with my boyfriend. We made two separate bedrooms out of the two rooms in the flat so it's more of a flat share than a couples flat. Hans was born in Leipzig and knows his way around the city. He works 40 hours in an agency downtown. He goes to the gym after work a few days a week, so he's not really home that much. He's an excellent cook and cooks with friends in our kitchen a few times a month. He's a really good flat mate, and he likes peace and quiet after work. We used an app to keep track of cleaning the flat, we took turns cleaning every other week and it worked really well. Hans also knows a few things about the club and techno scene and can tell you which club plays the best music on the weekends if you're interested.
Ich werde bestimmt ein oder auch mal zwei Tage die Woche in Leipzig sein. Ich werde aber auf jeden fall das Zimmer als deins respektieren und niemals ohne deine Erlaubnis in das Zimmer gehen. Wenn du sonst eine Frage oder Anliegen hast, können wir das aber dann direkt klären. Ich bin voraussichtlich auch schon früher aus dem Zimmer, also falls du schon vorher einziehen willst, geht das auch klar. Ich freu mich auf deine Nachricht! :)
I'll be coming by the flat to visit probably once or twice a week to see my boyfriend but I will of course respect the room as yours and would never enter it without your permission. If you have any needs or concerns, we can talk about them, when I'm there! I'm probably moving out earlier than October 15th, so if you needed to move in earlier, we can arrange that.
