The room is in a shared flat (see below for more), 20qm large, unfurnished, rent is ca 300€ including water, electricity and internet. It is headed toward a shady backyard with large trees and a small playground.
Our flat is on elevated ground floor in a characteristic WBS70 building made in late 80ies, a remnant of a country that does not exist anymore (GDR). Anyway; the flats proportions are obviously very practical, no high ceiling, low heating costs, three spacious bedrooms, one small bathroom and a functional kitchen.

Das Zimmer ist in einer WG (siehe unten für mehr), 20qm groß, unmöbliert, die Miete beträgt ca. 300 € inklusive Wasser, Strom und Internet. Es geht in Richtung eines schattigen Hinterhofs mit großen Bäumen und einem kleinen Spielplatz.
Unsere Wohnung befindet sich im EG/Hochparterre in einer charakteristischen WBS70-Platte, die in den späten 80er Jahren gebaut wurde, also ein Überbleibsel eines Landes, das nicht mehr existiert (DDR). Wie auch immer; die Proportionen der Wohnungen sind offensichtlich mega praktisch, keine hohe Decke, dh niedrige Heizkosten, drei geräumige Schlafzimmer, ein kleines Badezimmer und eine funktionale Küche.

We live in a house with many neighbors, all of them are really sweet! The huge communal backyard is perfect for hanging your laundry in summer, it’s usually very quiet but there are some families with young kids living here, as you will notice. (; We both did consider this flat to be very calm considering our very central location - We live in Volkmarsdorf just next to Rabet and 1min from Eisenbahnstraße. We very much love the neighbourhood (since 2014) and most of our friends live actually close by.

Wir leben in einem Haus mit vielen Nachbarn, die alle wirklich süß sind! Der riesige gemeinsame Hinterhof ist perfekt, um hier Wäsche im Sommer aufzuhängen, es ist normalerweise sehr ruhig, es gibt einige Familien mit kleinen Kindern, die hier leben, wie du dann merken wirst. (; Wir beide finden es sehr entspannt hier in Anbetracht der sehr zentralen Lage - Wir wohnen in Volkmarsdorf direkt neben dem Rabet und 1 min von der Eisenbahnstraße entfernt. Wir lieben die Nachbarschaft sehr (seit 2014) und die meisten unserer Freunde wohnen hier in der Nähe.
We aren’t the best friends (TM) and almost never hang out outside the flat but we still very much cherish each other and share coffees quite often, sometimes meals - always similar values :D - and care work depending on each of our actual capacity.
We are both longtime post(postpostpost) graduate from fine arts or art pedagogy department, one in the tiring process of re-orientation - the other working meanwhile touring with different bands as a freelance musician. We are looking for somebody who is currently in a similar stage of life, post grad, maybe arts/culture background - we did imagine our new roomie to be in their 30ies (similar to us) but please as gen z don’t hesitate to reach out if you feel it’s a match. <3
We are both german native speakers and fluent in English.

Wir sind nicht BFF (TM) und hängen so gut wie nie außerhalb der Wohnung ab, aber wir schätzen das Zusammenwohnen und teilen neben Kaffee und ab und zu Mahlzeiten immer gemeinsame Werte und die Care-Arbeit je nach persönlichen Kapas.
Wir sind beide langjähriger Post-(Postpostpost)-Absolventinnen aus dem Bildende Kunst bzw Kunst- und Medienpädagogik Bereich, eine von uns im Prozess der beruflichen Neuorientierung - die andere jobbt und ist gleichzeitig mit verschiedenen Bands als freiberuflicher Musikerin auf Tour. Wir suchen eine Person, die sich derzeit in einer ähnlichen Lebensphase befindet, graduiert/berufstätig, vielleicht mit Kunst-/Kultur-Hintergrund - wir haben uns vorgestellt, dass unsere neue Mitbewohner*in ü30 ist (also ähnlich wie wir), aber auch als GenZ melde dich voll gern wenn du das Gefühl hast dass es matcht. <3
Wir sind beide deutsch-Muttersprachlerinnen und sprechen fließend Englisch.
