Hallo im Zentrum Nord! Schöne 19qm an unerwarteter Stelle.

Wenn du aus der Tür gehst, bist du in 7 min am Hauptbahnhof, wo es verschiedene Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt, ALDI, Rewe und Alnatura Express. In drei Minuten bist du am Wilhelm-Liebknecht-Platz (bis zum Oktober sollen die Baumaßnahmen dort abgeschlossen sein), von da kommst du mit dem ÖPNV eigentlich überall hin. Solltest du ein Fahrrad besitzen (in Leipzig eigentlich die schönste (naja die Fahrradwege sind nicht mit dem Ausbau in Amsterdam zu vergleichen, aber immerhin ist die Stadt flach) und schnellste Fortbewegungsart), bist du in 15 min in Plagwitz, in 10 min im Osten der Stadt, in 5 min im Zentrum oder auch in 15 min im Süden von Leipzig. Außerdem gibt es in 5 Gehminuten entfernt noch einen leckeren Bäcker und den Konsum (Edeka in Leipzig).

When you leave the door, you are at the main station in 7 minutes, where there are various shopping facilities, ALDI, Rewe and Alnatura Express. In three minutes you are at Wilhelm-Liebknecht-Platz (the construction work there should be finished by October), from there you can get everywhere by public transport. If you have a bicycle (which is actually the nicest and fastest way to get around in Leipzig (well, the bicycle lanes can't be compared to those in Amsterdam, but at least the city is flat), you can be in Plagwitz in 15 minutes, in the east of the city in 10 minutes, in the centre in 5 minutes or in the south of Leipzig in 15 minutes. There is also a delicious bakery and Konsum (Edeka in Leipzig) just a 5-minute walk away.

In der WG wohnst du mit Richard und Georg zusammen.
Richard (37) arbeitet als freiberuflicher Theaterregisseur. Er lebt seit 16 Jahren in WG's in verschiedenen Konstellationen, Größen und Ansprüchen an seine Mitbewohner*innen. Seine Lebenszeit verbringt in der Albi (Albertina), in Theatern, beim Bouldern und bei seiner Freundin im Osten der Stadt. Richard zieht gerne um. Er ist gerade auf der Suche nach einer eignen Wohnung und wird wohl auch in den nächsten 6 Monaten umziehen, aber er freut sich dich kennenzulernen.
Georg (28) kommt aus der Ukraine und hat in der EWWG (Erich-Weinert-WG, nicht zu verwechseln mit der EEG Umlage) seine erste WG Erfahrung. Er ist seit März 2022 Mitglied unserer Wohngemeinschaft. Er spricht sehr gut Englisch und lernt Deutsch. Er arbeitet zurzeit bei BMW und möchte später Comic-Zeichner oder Spiele-Designer werden - er liebt Computer-Spiele.
Es gibt eine voll ausgestattete Küche mit einem großen Kühlschrank. Außerdem verfügen wir über zwei Bäder mit Fenstern, eins davon mit Badewanne (Dusche inklusive). Der Flur ist auch wirklich groß und wird meistens zum Wäsche trocknen oder Fahrrad abstellen genutzt.
Richard und Georg freuen sich über Zuschreiben, die Interesse an Gemeinschaft haben. Eine gute WG wird durch die Menschen definiert, die in ihr wohnen. Daran möchten die beiden gemeinsam mit dir festhalten. Ein gemeinsames Projekt könnte auf jeden Fall die Küche sein. Wir glauben in ihrer Hässlichkeit hat sie das Potential zu einem echten Gemeinschaftsraum.


. Richard (that's me, 37 (the person who appreciates brackets)) works as a freelance theatre director. He has been living in shared flats for 15 years in various constellations, sizes and demands on his flatmates. He finds being thrown together great and is also prepared to put up with the occasional purpose-built flat-sharing phase, but actually longs for a friendly atmosphere in the flat-sharing community. He spends his time in the Albi (Albertina), in theatres, bouldering and with his girlfriend in the east of the city - where everyone wants to go (I like to be there, but find the Erich-Weinert-WG, with its position between the neighbourhoods, appealing).
Georg (27) comes from Ukraine and has his first flat-sharing experience in the EWWG (Erich-Weinert-WG, not to be confused with the EEG Umlage). He has been a member of our flat-sharing community since March and is just getting to know the WG format. He speaks English very well. He is currently learning German (which causes a certain confusion in his head) and is looking for a job. Later he wants to be a comic artist or a game designer - he loves computer games. There is a cleaning schedule and a large fridge. We also have two bathrooms with windows, one with a bath and shower. The hallway is also really big and underused.
As I have already described, I am happy to hear from people who are interested in community. Unfortunately, I'm not sure how long I'll be living in the Erich-WG, I'd like to move and I'm in the mood for it again, but I can't say whether it will be in three or ten months. A good flat share is defined by the people who live in it. I'd like to work on that together with Heorgi and maybe you. A joint project could definitely be the kitchen. I think in its ugliness it has the potential to be a real community space.

Die WG liegt an einer stark befahrenen Straße direkt hinter dem Hauptbahnhof (was ich als Vorteil empfinde - aber Menschen, die in den Osten oder Westen wollen vllt eher mit Skepsis betrachten - wer jedoch noch unentschlossen zwischen Osten und Westen ist, hat hier die Möglichkeit beides in 10/15 Minuten mit dem Rad zu erreichen), die Küche ist noch hässlich aber es gibt auf jeden Fall Potential für einen Ort des Austauschs, der Offenheit und des Vertrauens. Nicht wie in einer Sekte, sondern wie in einer schönen WG.
Ansonsten sollen sich alle Menschen angesprochen fühlen (unerwünscht sind Rechtsextreme)
Wir müssen eine neue (gebrauchte Waschmaschine kaufen) deshalb kommen nochmal 30 Ablöse drauf

Die Miete wird mit dem Mieterwechsel etwas erhöht (angekündigt sind ca. 0,50€ pro m2). Das ist noch nicht im Mietpreis enthalten, ich kann euch leider nur meinen aktuellen Mietpreis nennen. Das Zimmer wird direkt vermietet, das heißt die Hausverwaltung möchte einen Verdienstnachweis oder eine Bürgschaft seitens der Eltern (das können wir leider nicht ändern) zusätzlich zur Kaution und Schufa (request now) (jetzt beantragen) -Auskunft. Zudem wird es vermutlich eine Mindestmietdauer von einem Jahr geben.


The flat share is located on a busy street directly behind the main train station (which I see as an advantage - but people who want to go east or west might view it with skepticism - but if you are still undecided between east and west, you can reach both in 10/15 minutes by bike), the kitchen is still ugly but there is definitely potential for a place of exchange, openness and trust. Not like in a sect, but like in a nice shared flat.
Apart from that, everyone should feel welcome (right-wing extremists are undesirable)

The rent will increase slightly with the change of tenant (approx. €0.50 per m2 has been announced). This is not yet included in the rent, unfortunately I can only give you my current rent. The room will be rented out directly, which means that the property management will require proof of income or a guarantee from the parents (unfortunately we can't change this) in addition to the deposit and Schufa (request now) (apply now) information. In addition, there will probably be a minimum rental period of one year.
