My name is Ruth and i am from Kenya. I moved to Leipzig in 2023 October to do my masters at Lancaster University. I am currently working and still studying at the same uni. I like to be organized, I am friendly and social too. I like to cook on the weekends which is something I can easily let you try some of my cuisines from my country.

Die Wohnung ist modern ausgestattet, mit Fußbodenheizung und einer Küche inkl. Geschirrspüler. Das Zimmer hat eine schöne Aussicht mit viel Licht und einen tollen Blick auf das Grassi Museum. Es ist gut isoliert, sodass du Filme schauen, Musik hören oder Freunde empfangen kannst, ohne jemanden zu stören. Es gibt die Möglichkeit Möbel des vorherigen Mitbewohners zu übernehmen.

The flat is perfectly located in the center of Leipzig, so you can easily get anywhere. The flat is modern and well-equipped, featuring underfloor heating and a kitchen with a dishwasher. The room has a lovely view from the windows, offering plenty of light and a great view of the Grassi Museum. Your room has very good isolation too, both for acoustics and heat, so you can watch a movie, listen to music or have friends over without any issues of bothering anyone. Also, we barely need to heat here. You can also take the room with some furniture of the previous flatmate if you want to.

Ich bin ein freundlicher, geselliger Typ aus Ungarn und wohne seit fast 3 Jahren in Leipzig. Mein Deutsch ist noch nicht perfekt, aber ich lerne weiter. Vielleicht kann ich mit dir sogar mein deutsch verbessern. In meiner Freizeit unterhalte ich mich gern, schaue Filme, spiele Videospiele oder höre Musik. Ich interessiere mich auch für Geschichte, soziale und Umweltfragen. Außerdem bin ich vegan.
Ich suche jemanden, der oder die die entspannte Atmosphäre in der WG schätzt, gern Zeit miteinander verbringt, aber auch Privatsphäre respektiert. Es besteht auch die Möglichkeit, schon vor dem 01. Februar einzuziehen.

I’m a friendly and sociable guy from Hungary who moved to Leipzig almost 3 years ago, and so far I love it here! My German is still a work in progress, but I’m improving, and I mostly use English in daily life. However I would also welcome someone who would "force" me to speak more German :) I teach English, and in my free time, I love hanging out with cool people, watching movies, playing video games, and listening to music. I am also very interested in history, social and environmental issues, sciences, and I do love to have short or long conversations about similar topics, but also silly ones, since in my opinion we can't always take everything too seriously all the time. I'm also vegan.
I'm looking for someone who likes to keep an open mind on things, who enjoys sharing what's on their mind, as I like to listen, but also someone who loves to hang out for a movie night (I have really cool home cinema in my room) or just hang out in the city. I'm looking for somebody who likes maintaining a very relaxed atmosphere in the flat, who has an open door for the other flat mates but be sure that you can also have your privacy whenever you wish. There is also the possibility of moving in before February 1st, if that works for you.
