Das Zimmer ist in einer 2er-WG im Studierendenwohnheim in der Straße des 18. Oktober 33 im 8. Stock (mit Aufzug). Das Zimmer ist möbliert durch das Wohnheim mit 1 großen Schrank, 1 großen Schreibtisch, 1 Stuhl, 1 Regal, 1 Bett (90x200cm) und 1 Nachttisch, man hat also alles was es so braucht an Möbeln. Die Möbel sind alle quasi neu und sehen deswegen auch ziemlich modern aus.
Man hat einen tollen Ausblick mit Panometer, Kohlrabizirkus etc. Die Fenster gehen nach Südosten raus, daher ist es immer sehr hell. Ich muss kaum heizen, da es relativ warm und gut isoliert ist.
Es gibt eine Küche mit Induktionsherd und eigentlich allem was eine Küche so braucht, sowie einem kleinen Tisch. Die Küche und das Bad würdest du dir mit deinem zukünftigen Mitbewohner teilen.
Es gibt einen Fahrradkeller und viele Fahrradständer vor dem Haus. Die Waschmaschine ist im Keller und kostet pro Waschvorgang zusätzlich 2,65€.

The room is in a shared flat for 2 people in the student dormitory at Straße des 18. Oktober 33 on the 8th floor (with elevator). The room is furnished with 1 large wardrobe, 1 large desk, 1 chair, 1 shelf, 1 bed (90x200cm) and 1 bedside table, so you have everything you need in terms of furniture. The furniture is all practically new and therefore looks quite modern.
You have a great view of the sights of Leipzig like the Panometer, Kohlrabi circus etc. The windows face southeast, so it's always very bright. I hardly need to heat the room as it is relatively warm and well insulated.
There is a kitchen with an induction stove and everything you need for a kitchen, as well as a small table. You would share the kitchen and bathroom with your future flatmate.
There is a bicycle cellar and plenty of bicycle racks in front of the house. The washing machine is in the basement and costs an additional €2.65 per wash.

Das Wohnheim liegt im Zentrum-Südost, also sehr zentral. Zum Hauptcampus sind es mit Fahrrad ca 5-10 Minuten und ca. 3 Minuten mit Fahrrad zur Uniklinik und medizinischen Fakultät. Fast direkt vor dem Haus fährt die Tram 16 und 2 ab, sowie der Bus 74. Die Haltestelle ist Deutsche Nationalbibliothek.
Ein Rewe ist in der gleichen Straße ca 5 min zu Fuß entfernt.

The dormitory is located in Zentrum-Südost, so it is very much in the center of the city. It is about 5-10 minutes by bike to the main campus and about 3 min by bike to the University Hospital and medical faculty. The trams 16 and 2 stop almost directly in front of the building, as does the bus 74, the stop is at the German National Library.
There is a supermarket (Rewe) in the same street about 5 minutes away on foot.

Das Einzugsdatum ist flexibel, da ich ab ca. 15.12. eh nicht mehr dort wohne und du auch gerne zwischen dem 15.12. und 1.1. einziehen kannst. Du musst offiziell einer Uni/Hochschule in Leipzig eingeschrieben sein, um im Wohnheim zu wohnen. Die Mindestwohnzeit ist 2 Monate, aber du kannst auch dauerhaft in dem Zimmer wohnen bleiben, wenn du magst.

The move-in date is flexible between December 15th and January 1st, since I will be moving out before that. You have to be enrolled in a university in Leipzig in order to live in the dormitory. The minimum period of residence is 2 months, but you can also stay in the room permanently, if you wish.
