Die zentrale Lage auf dem Campus und die direkt gegenüberliegende Mensa machen das zum Wintersemester 2014/15 fertiggestellte Wohnheim besonders attraktiv.
Mit der neuen Anlage entstand in Lüneburg das zweite Wohnheim ausschließlich für Erstsemester: 55 moderne Apartments mit eigenem Sanitärbereich und Gemeinschaftsküchen, die sich jeweils sechs Bewohner teilen. Das besondere Konzept: Zwei Tutoren stehen den Erstsemestern für alle Fragen rund um den Studienalltag zur Verfügung und unterstützen sie bei den ersten Schritten am neuen Studienstandort.
Alle Apartments sind möbliert (Bett, Schrank, Schreibtisch, Stuhl) und zwischen 16 m² und 20 m² groß. Im Erdgeschoss stehen zwei barrierefreie Apartments zur Verfügung. Die Erdgeschosszimmer wurden zusätzlich mit Rollläden ausgestattet.
