Das Zimmer ist mit ca. 17,7 m² angenehm groß. Es wird möbliert vermietet (siehe Bilder). Durch das Fenster hat man viel Sonnenlicht.

The room is pleasantly large at approx. 17.7 m². It is rented furnished (see pictures). There is plenty of sunlight through the window.
Die Lage ist ideal: Mit dem Fahrrad ist man in 8 Minuten am Campus, zu Fuß in 8 Minuten am Sande. Auch der Weg zum Stint oder Bahnhof sind dementsprechend echt nicht weit. Die Straße ist nicht sonderlich befahren, zumal das Zimmer nach hinten liegt. Hinten ist es meist recht ruhig.
Im Keller des Hauses können Fahrräder sicher abgestellt werden. Im Hinterhof gibt es einen gemeinschaftlichen Grill der kostenlos genutzt werden kann. Zudem gibt es im Nachbarhaus einen Partykeller.

The location is ideal: you can be at the campus in 8 minutes by bike and at Sande in 8 minutes on foot. It's also really close to Stint or the railway station. The street is not very busy, especially as the room is at the back. It is usually quite quiet at the back.
Bicycles can be safely stored in the basement of the house. There is a communal barbecue in the backyard which can be used free of charge. There is also a party cellar in the neighbouring house.
Das WG-Leben ist aktuell ein sehr entspanntes Miteinander. Wir sind gerne gemeinsam in der Küche, kochen mal was zusammen oder spielen Karten. Wenn man sich zurückziehen will, ist das aber auch voll oke. Wir teilen uns einige Lebensmittel, andere kaufen wir getrennt ein (was mit den vier Kühlschränken auch sehr entspannt geht).
Valentin studiert im zweiten Semester Kulturwissenschaften. Er spielt leidenschaftlich Basketball und ist auch sonst sportlich unterwegs. Das einzige Problem ist: Er würzt alles mit Maggi.
Ab nächsten Semester werden alle bis auf Valentin ausziehen – Fieke hat dann ihren Bachelor, Charlie und ich gehen ins Auslandssemester. Es gibt daher auf jeden Fall die Möglichkeit, das WG Leben mitzugestalten :)

Life in the shared flat is currently very relaxed. We like to spend time together in the kitchen, cook something together or play cards. But if you want to retreat to your room, that's totally fine too. We share some groceries and buy others separately (which is also very relaxed with our four fridges).
Valentin is studying cultural studies in his second semester. He's passionate about basketball and is also active in other sports. The only problem is that he flavours everything with Maggi (a umami seasoning sauce).
From next semester, everyone except Valentin will be moving out—Fieke will have her Bachelor's degree, Charlie and I will be going on a semester abroad. So there will definitely be the opportunity to help organise life in the shared flat.
Das Zimmer wird von mir untervermietet. Ich werde exakt die Preise des Studierendenwohnheims weitergeben. Ab Oktober liegt die insgesamt Miete bei den angegebenen 405€ pro Monat. Davor beträgt die Miete nur 368€. Einmalig fällt vom Studierendenwerk für die Untermiete noch ein Betrag von 25€ an. Es gibt keine weiteren Kosten wie Strom, Wasser, Internet, etc. Auch die Kaution ist weitergegeben vom Studierendenwohnheim. Beim genauen Ende der Untervermietung bin ich etwas flexibel. Ich würde gerne ein paar meiner Sachen während dem Auslandssemester unter dem Bett lassen.

The room will be sublet by me. I will pass on the exact prices of the student hall of residence. From October onwards, they will be €405 per month. Before that, the rent is only €368. There is a one-off charge of €25 from the Studierendenwerk for the sublet. There are no further costs such as electricity, water, internet, etc. The deposit is also passed on by the student residence. I am somewhat flexible regarding the exact end of the sublet. I would like to leave a few of my things under the bed during the semester abroad.
