Hello!

Since I will be regularly in Magdeburg for a doctorate at the UFZ in Magdeburg over the next three years, I will look for a room for rent from July (determined or indefinite, withdrawal date flexible). I will mainly live in Leipzig and therefore probably only be in Magdeburg for 1-2 nights a week, but sometimes for all weekdays, so the room can also be shared. A not too large, furnished room would be great, but I am happy about any offers!

In short: I am Lena or Lotti (they/her), 28 years old. I spend a lot of time and thoughts on environmental and species protection, climate justice and intersectal feminism – and I try to contribute a small part to the fight against species death with ecological research. By the way, I prefer to go outside: mostly during cycling, hiking, camping, or just walking with a binoculars in my hand. Music also plays a major role in my life, at the moment I sing in the Berlin pub choir and maintain a music free time for children every year. I like to cook (vegan) and even more for others, gender-neutral language, norms and categories may break up and constructive and nonviolent communication.

For living: for me, community is generally important; I very much liked people around me and very much like to share, but appreciate retreats and setting personal limits equally worth. I bring a lot of WG experience with me and would say that I am empathic for the needs of others and very adaptable. I myself need quite a lot of order but also cosiness in my home; because Magdeburg will be my second residence, but I am super flexible in the details of living together and like to adapt. :

A bit about me: I’m Lena or Lotti (she/her), 28. I donate a lot of time thinking about conservation, climate justice, intersectional feminism, etc. I work in research, focusing on understanding ecosystems in relation to anthropogenic stressors. I love being outdoors hiking, camping or bird-watching and I so donate a lot of time making music — I'm part of the 'Berliner Kneipenchor' and help supervising an annual music camp for kids. I like to cook (vegan), especially when I don’t have to eat it by myself. I love to question norms and categories, and value gender-neutral language and non-violent communication.

About living together: I value a sense of community and love to have people around me, as well as sharing things and food. I’m equally respectful of boundaries and personal space, as I need some me-time myself. I have plenty of experience in shared flats and think I’m quite aware of others’ needs and distract to adapt to what's needed in a community. As Magdeburg wants be my second home, I am super flexible in the details of living together and am happy to adapt. :

Da ich für eine Promotionsstelle am UFZ in Magdeburg in den nächsten drei Jahren regelmäßig in Magdeburg sein werde, suche ich ab Juli (befristet oder unbefristet, Einzugsdatum flexibel) ein Zimmer zur Untermiete. Ich werde hauptsächlich in Leipzig wohnen und daher voraussichtlich nur für 1-2 Nächte in der Woche in Magdeburg sein, phasenweise aber auch mal für alle Wochentage, deshalb darf das Zimmer aber auch in geteilter Nutzung sein. Ein nicht allzu großes, möbliertes Zimmer wäre toll, ich freue mich aber über jegliche Angebote!

Kurz zu mir: Ich bin Lena oder Lotti (sie/ihr), 28 Jahre alt. Ich stecke viel Zeit und Gedanken in Umwelt- und Artenschutz, Klimagerechtigkeit und intersektionalen Feminismus – und versuche mit ökologischer Forschung einen kleinen Teil zum Kampf gegen das Artensterben beizutragen. Nebenbei bin ich am liebsten draußen unterwegs: Meistens beim Radfahren, Wandern, Campen, oder einfach beim Spaziergang mit einem Fernglas in der Hand. Musik spielt auch eine große Rolle in meinem Leben, momentan singe ich im Berliner Kneipenchor und betreue jedes Jahr eine Musikfreizeit für Kinder. Ich koche super gerne (vegan) und noch lieber für andere, mag genderneutrale Sprache, Normen und Kategorien aufbrechen und konstruktive und gewaltfreie Kommunikation.

Zum Wohnen: Für mich ist Gemeinschaft generell wichtig; ich habe sehr sehr gerne Menschen um mich und teile sehr gerne, schätze aber Rückzugsräume und ein Setzen von persönlichen Grenzen genauso wert. Ich bringe viel WG-Erfahrung mit und würde behaupten, dass ich empathisch für Bedürfnisse anderer und sehr anpassungsfähig bin. Ich selbst brauche recht viel Ordnung aber auch Gemütlichkeit in meinem Zuhause; weil Magdeburg mein zweiter Wohnsitz sein wird, bin ich in den Einzelheiten des Zusammenwohnens aber super flexibel und passe mich gerne an. :)
