Hey Everyone!
After 4 years of living happily in this wonderful flat, living with different flatmates, and creating unforgettable experiences together, I am moving out around mid-August. Therefore, we are looking for an individual who would like to do the same (and more!) and participate in the WG life.
The room is approximately 11 m2. It has two large windows facing the street which usually offer a very beautiful view of the sunset. The room is furnished with a 4-in-1 loft bed + desk + storage closet + book shelf, a large chest drawer, a small chest drawer (optional), an office chair (optional), and a shoe cabinet (optional).
The flat is on the 4th floor of the apartment (with elevator). It has a big living room + kitchen, facing the courtyard and capturing the morning sun. The living room has two huge couches ideal for chilling, movie nights, or even friends sleeping over. The fully equipped kitchen offers a big space perfect for cooking/baking. There is a separate bathroom and toilet (with urinal), a washing machine, and a wide hallway.
The apartment has a bicycle storage at the basement. In addition, the flat has its own basement room where things can be stored and clothes can be hanged dry.
The apartment is very central and has access to all living essentials within walking distance.
Landmarks: By foot, Mannheim main train station is 3 mins away, University of Mannheim is 15 mins, Wasserturm is 6 mins, Planken (Shopping Area) is 10 mins.
Transportation: by foot, you can reach different train/tram stations - Mannheim Hbf, Tattersall, Kunsthalle.
Shops: Lidl is literally around the corner. GoAsia and Alnatura are within 2 mins by foot. All other supermarkets (Rewe, Aldi, Edeka) and drugstores (DM, Rossmann, Müller) are accessible by foot or tram within 10 - 15 mins.
Food Places: Kebab shop, Vietnamese imbiss, French imbiss, Indian restaurant, are right around the corner. Opposite the apartment is a bakery, Thai imbiss, another Kebab shop. Within walking distance, there are many restaurants, pizzerias, fast food chains, coffee shops, bakeries, and imbiss.
Living in the flat are Tim, Tom, and Cecile. All of them are currently studying at the University of Mannheim.
Tom and Cecile are studying Business Administration. Tom plays tennis regularly and travels a lot. Cecile likes to cook and also loves travelling. Tim is studying Education (Philosophy and English). He likes watching NBA games and playing computer games. He plays basketball regularly.
We usually do things together - themed cooking nights (e.g. Japanese, Mexican, etc.), movie nights (both in the flat and in the cinema house), and game nights (board games, blind taste test, etc.). These activities are not must - we respect everyone's schedules and need to have time for himself/herself. But it would be really awesome if you can join/organize bonding activities.
Below are the summary of costs:
- 303,41€ rent (monthly)
- 650€ deposit (one-time payment)
- 75€ processing fee for the landlord (one-time payment)
- 200€ transfer fee for room and kitchen furniture (Negotiable; one-time payment)
