Cozy room in a 5-room WG shared flat is available in Bogenhausen starting 1/12/24 (December 1). The room is furnished with a bed, desk/chair, large wardrobe, floor lamp, full mirror, and garbage can.
It has in-unit laundry, with both a washing machine and a dryer. It also has a dishwasher, large refrigerator, oven, microwave, stove with fan, and kitchen supplies that the rest of the flat shares together. The rest of the flat includes a kitchen, balcony, 4 other bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, and a basement/cellar with a locked storage area and a safe place to put your bike.
I am moving out 1/12 (Dec 1), but the lease start is flexible in the month of December; ideally, earlier in the month is better.
It is in Bogenhausen, on the ground floor in secluded area of the neighboorhood. It is very quiet and tranquil at all times of the day. The building is very close to the English Garden, with a 1-2 minute bike.
It is a 5 minute walk to the nearest bus station, and a 8 minute walk to the 17 Tram, and 8 minute walk to another bus station.
There is an Edeka grocery store and other shops about a 8 min walk/3 min bike away. There is also an Aldi, DM, gym, Hagebaumarkt, Decathlon, and other collection of stores about a 14 min walk/5 min bike away.
There are 4 other flatmates, 3 men and 1 woman, average in their late-20s. 2 of them are students. Most of the flatmates are from other countries, so internationals are welcome.
The vibe of the flat is pretty chill, and most people are outside most of the day. Shared use of the bathroom or kitchen isn’t an issue as everyone has quite different schedules. Occasionally, we hang out in the evenings when schedules align. Everyone is friendly with each other and we all have busy schedules.
The flat is pretty clean, and there is a shared chores schedule, where we have been rotating different chores tasks on a weekly basis.
feel free to message me on the platform and we can talk about doing an in-person or video tour. Since I have classes most of the day on weekdays, I will be mostly free on evenings and weekends. For the process of securing the room, you will reach out to the agency that manages the apartment via email with an application document and some proof of income/ability to pay for rent. SCHUFA (request now) is not required, and international people are welcome to join the flat.
