Ich untervermiete mein Zimmer im Studentenwohnheim in Garching während meines Praktikums in einer anderen Stadt vom 07.08. (ggf. auch ein paar Tage früher) bis Mitte/Ende Januar.
Du kannst gerne zu anderen Zeitpunkten ein-/ausziehen, jedoch möchte ich die Wohnung über den gesamten Zeitraum vermietet haben, d.h. ggf. müsstest du dich dann rechtzeitig um einen Nachmieter kümmern.
Das Zimmer wird möbliert (Schrank, Schreibtisch + Stuhl, Kommode, Bett, Teppich) vermietet und ist Bestandteil einer Zweier-WG. Geteilt sind dabei Küche und Bad. Das Zimmer hat eine eigene Haustür nach außen.

I am subletting my room in the student dorm in Garching during my internship in another city from 7 August (possibly a few days earlier) until the middle/end of January.
You are welcome to move in/out at other times, but I would like the flat to be rented out for the entire period, i.e. you may have to look for a new tenant in that case.
The room is rented fully furnished (wardrobe, desk + chair, chest of drawers, bed, carpet) and is part of a shared flat for two people. Kitchen and bathroom are shared. The room has its own front door to the outside.
23 min mit der U6 bis Marienplatz, 10 min zu Fuß zum TUM Forschungszentrum.

Meine gegenwärtige Mitbewohnerin kommt ursprünglich aus Myanmar und studiert normalerweise in Finnland. In München macht sie selbst gerade nur ein Auslandssemester. Daher wird sie Ende September ausziehen und jmd. neues zieht in ihr Zimmer ein. Auf das Überraschungspaket müsstest du dich entsprechend einstellen.
Im restlichen Wohnheim wohnen aufgrund der Uninähe hauptsächlich andere TUM Studenten (Informatik/Maschinenwesen/Physik etc.), viele davon sind international (insb. große chinesische und lateinamerikanische Community).

My current flatmate is originally from Myanmar and normally studies in Finland. She is currently only doing a semester abroad in Munich. She will therefore be moving out at the end of September and someone new will be moving into her room. You should thus be prepared for the surprise package.
The rest of the dorm is mainly occupied by other TUM students (computer science/mechanical engineering/physics etc.), many of whom are international (particularly large Chinese and Latin American community).
WICHTIG: Du musst an der Uni immatrikuliert sein oder deinen PhD machen, um hier wohnen zu dürfen! Praktikanten oder Exchange Students ebenfalls willkommen.
Im Studentenwohnheim können Gemeinschaftsräume inkl. Bar, Tischtennisplatte und Billardtisch genutzt werden und es finden regelmäßig Barabende sowie andere Aktivitäten statt, denen man sich bei Interesse anschließen kann :)

IMPORTANT: You must be enrolled at the university or doing your PhD to be allowed to live here! Interns and exchange students are also welcome.
You can use the common rooms in the student residence, including the bar, table tennis table and pool table, and there are regular bar evenings and other activities that you can join if you are interested :)
