Hello everyone!
For rent is a 16m2 room in a superbly well-connected area to public transport (right from the door in all 4 directions!), with a flexible rental timeframe from MID NOVEMBER - FEBRUARY (+POSSIBLY FURTHER). First we will see how it goes :-)
The features of the room include:
1) BRAND NEW!: 90cm x 200cm bed with mattress, wardrobe, dresser, storage cubby with cubes, bedside stand, wastepaper basket, and door hanger. To come still are a couple shelves above the desk and a mirror (we will drill these in).
2) BIG WORKSPACE: There is a large (75 x 140 cm) desk and office chair with a lamp and file organizer.
3) SUNNY BALCONY: The room has direct access to a shared balcony and is southwest-facing, meaning it is generally sunny both in the room and on the balcony.
Features of the apartment include:
1) ALL NEEDED AMENITIES: washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, electric kettle, and communal kitchen items.
2) FAST INTERNET: The internet is 100 Mbps.
3) IMPROVEMENTS TO COME: Upgrades to the appt (decor- and modernizing-oriented) are in the planning stage and to come. These are mild and nondisruptive.
4) GREAT FLATMATE :D: I’m a female master’s student in science/engineering, which likes a mix of both self + study time and being down for a wholesome communal living space. I generally want people to feel well and for us to be comfortable with each other :-) If you have any needs, just voice them!
The location is really superb, right at the tram/bus stop Ostfriedhof:
1) GREAT PUBLIC TRANSPORT: This is a 4-way intersection with trams and buses going all directions and metro <10 min walking distance.
2) MANY SHOPPING OPTIONS: Various shops, grocery stores (Edeka, Penny, Rewe), pharmacies (also dm, Rossmann), washing salons, fast food, and so on are all nearby and along the Tegernseer Landstraße strip in a 5-10 min distance.
3) CLOSE TRAIN CONNECTIONS: Ostbahnhof train station can be reached directly by bus downstairs in 10 min, with trains and S-Bahn to local and intercity destinations.
4) SCENIC TOURS NEARBY: Walking downtown, the Isar River is 20 min away and the Sendlinger Tor area is 30 min away. There are also various parks nearby.
ABOUT MYSELF:
Master’s student in materials science and engineering, often busy studying but open to socializing every so often. Speak both English and German. Active at night, and like tidy spaces with cleaning also every so often.
ABOUT YOURSELF:
Someone who is somewhat laidback, values cleanliness/ tidiness and harmony, preferably studying or working a lot too (especially if you are here only for weekdays, “Wochenendheimfahrer/in”), and likes to socialize every so often. Age range ~25-35 preferred, can be a few years flexible.
