The free room is the smallest but also the cheapest with two large windows towards the south and west side, therefore it is very light. There is a small desk in the room that is just enough to study but still kind of small. A large wardrobe has space for storage. The bed in the room ia 2mx1.4m. This furniture would remain in the room but anything can also be swaped for your preferred stuff. The shared rooms include the bathroom, the corridor and the kitchen. The kitchen provides some space for eating and meeting, or also chilling. Most stuff for coocking etc. is already there. The house includes a garden small garden, which can also be used, but belongs to the lady of the ground floor. In the garden is also a shed for 1 bicycle.
The whole flat has a floor heating system.
You can reach the U6 subway within 5 minutes (fröttmaning) or 10 min (kieferngarten). It is well connected to the TUM campus in Garching (12min) and LMU in the city (12min) or at Klinikum Großhadern (30 min), the Helmholtz campus can be reached by bike in 15 min. The subway takes you to the city center in around 15 min. There are some additional busses at kieferngarten station for other directions. The natural reserve area (awsome for outdoor activities) can be reached by foot in 5 min, the stadion in 10-15minutes. The closed grocery store is 15min walking distance, 3min by bike but a variety of larger stores can be reached in 10-15 min by bike. (Tiny shop also at the subway station)
You will be sharing the flat with Bianca (26) and Defne (29). Bianca is studying Biochemistry (master) at TUM and currently writes her thesis at the MPI. Defne is a bioinformatition working for a lab in bochum remotely. LWe are interested in spending some time together as a WG with our flatmate (e.g., cooking together, board game nights, hiking trips). Of course, we also want to create a friendly living environment where everyone's privacy is appreciated and we can all feel at home. In our free time, Bianca likes sports, especially running/ bouldering/ cycling.
The contract is limited until end of Feb at first but with the option for extension. (We are just waiting on the landlord to extend the main contract which then applies for all of us), I, who sublets the room, will come back from an internship in April, but at the time Bianca will leave the WG for an internship in Barcelona. But that means that one room/ this room would likely be available for minimum one year. I am really flexible as to when to move out. Mid of November would be perfect for me but it could be anytime from the beginning until end of Nov. Thanks for reading
