Hello together,
we – Kolya and Elmedin – want to introduce you to our WG and ourselves a little closer. Our community has existed for about four years, with Kolya being a founding member from the outset. For about a year, we have lived here in Gievenbeck.
To us:
• Kolya Westphalen: I am currently studying mathematics in the third Master-Semester and also working as a tutor in this subject. In addition, I often help at various music festivals in the summer. Sports is one of my favorite jobs, and in the evening I am often on the go during training. So it can happen that the apartment is empty in the evening.
• Elmedin: He is enrolled in the third BWL. In addition to studying, he is professionally active and is engaged in an initiative at his field of expertise. The days are often well filled, which at the same time means that it is quite relaxed and calm in the WG without constantly husking.
Our WG and the apartment:
We live in a well-equipped WG with a total of three rooms, so everyone has their own kingdom. The apartment has two separate bathrooms – so there is hardly any morning traffic jams. The centrepiece is our spacious living room directly connected to the hallway and kitchen. From here you can reach the balcony, which offers direct access to the communal garden. A cellar, a laundry cellar and two drying rooms are also part of the apartment, which is very practical in terms of laundry.
Our kitchen is equipped with a total of eight ceramic fields and two refrigerators (one second is in the living room). Here we like to cook together or relax at dinner together. The atmosphere is harmonious and communicative.
Redesign:
We plan to redesign our hall and living room. It would be desirable to have a certain interest in setting up and design, as well as the willingness to make a small financial contribution. For this, you would have the opportunity to shape your new home according to your ideas and introduce a personal touch.
Your room:
Your room has its own window, allowing you to enjoy a relaxed view of the green. Since the house is not directly on the street, you can look forward to quiet nights. In addition to your room, you have room in the hall to accommodate a large closet – at Tom this was even three-door. The closet is just about one meter from your room door, which is very practical. The cut of the room allows a bed to be placed in a space-saving manner, so that perhaps a slightly smaller space can be used optimally.
Location:
Our apartment is located in Gievenbeck, which is perhaps something outside the city centre. But we feel the situation as an absolute plus point: The immediate proximity to fields and green areas invites you to extensive walks or bike tours (especially with the race bike). Gievenbeck is ideal for rest and relaxation away from the university and city bustle.
WG life:
We would call our WG neat and pleasant. Cleanliness is important to us, so regular cleaning is a matter of course for us. With our landlord, we are in a very good relationship – he has once studied computer science in Münster and always meets us at eye level and with understanding.
In the evening we like to sit together in the kitchen, exchange ourselves or cook together. Nevertheless, we both have quite full days – through work, engagement in initiatives, sports and other leisure activities we are not at home 24/7. So if you are looking for a relaxed and uncomplicated WG situation where both evenings and quiet time are possible for yourself, you might feel very comfortable with us.

Organizational:
The free room is available from 01.02. If you want to move in the course of February, the exact terms for the proportionate rent allocation should still be discussed with Tom, our former roommate in the future. We would also like to point out that we are all three equal main tenants. This means that the rental agreement is jointly supported by us and thus enables a fair, stable and secure basis for our coexistence in the WG.
