Need a room while you look for a permanent WG in Münster? This room faces west with full afternoon sun, is very bright, and is cut squarely at about 15m2. The room is furnished with a 140cm bed, bedside table, bean bag chair, closet, desk, desk chair and an electronic piano, if you know how to play, you can practice on it! Bedding is not included. The room connects to a hallway, along which the kitchen, then bathroom, and lastly, my room are situated.
Set between the Ring and Wienburg Park, the house is in the neighborhood of, you guessed it, Wienburg.
We are one minute walking from the Ring, and if you walk a bit further you can connect to the 8, 6, E8, and N82 buses. Edeka is 3 min away by bike and York Center is 5 min in the opposite direction. It takes about 15 min to get to the north side of old town/Promenade by foot, or about 5 min by bike.
There is a bakery, a drugstore, and a beer brewery in the neighborhood. Kanalstr., which is one block away, offers more options for dining and other services.
My roommate Mariana, 27, a pianist from Portugal, is leaving for a month, leaving me here in our WG. I am 28 and originally from the Miami-area in the US, having come in 2018 to pursue a master's in Anthropology. I work part time as an English teacher for the Zoll (customs office) and keep myself busy between those two responsibilities and my social life.
Mariana and I both belonged to the same gym, so when our schedules allowed it, we would go together. If we're too lazy to leave the house, sometimes we'll just settle for some at-home yoga. As for me, I enjoy partying at clubs or going out to bars on the weekends, especially ones playing live or electronic music. Otherwise I spend those few sunny days in Münster outside as much as possible, usually at the Wienburg park. I'm not often at home, but when I am, I like to cook or I'll rest after a long day with some quality Netflix time.
As a roommate, I'm pretty uncomplicated. I value respect for the other person's space and schedule and generally try to be communicative. I would expect the same from a future roommate. Keeping the apartment tidy is very important, but that doesn't mean that you can't leave a dish in the sink when in a rush. Mariana is vegetarian and I am vegan, so we are not accustomed anymore to cooking meat in the home.
Pet and 420 etc friendly
