Hallo aus Nizza – wir koennen gerne deutsch sprechen aber kurz auf englisch fuer globalere Verstaendigung :-) :
Near Port / Faculties / Train to Monaco, etc. : Comfortable Room With Its Own Bathroom
A COZY ROOM WITH ENSUITE BATHROOM in a large, charming, comfortable, fully furnished and clean period flat with beautiful views and cosmopolitan flatmate (f) is waiting for a non-smoking, positive, responsible person (f/h) who would enjoy to have a peaceful and neat retreat from the Riviera's hustle & bustle - complete with the occasional seagull flying by.
We are in a popular, authentic residential area with nice atmosphere IN EASY WALKING DISTANCE TO EVERYTHING (Port / Place Garibaldi / Old Town / museums / beaches / cafés & restaurants / shops, several faculties, ...), including public transport (buses, T1 & T2) with connections along the coast via the cute Riquier train station up the street (25MN TO MONACO from house !)
Happy to help with the French language & culture.
Looking forward to hearing from you!

The flat itself is on the 4th and last floor (alas, no elevator but good workout and nice, airy staircase) with no upstairs neighbours, instead it has views over the roofs of Nice all the way to the mountains behind Vence and wonderful sunsets.
You would be renting a charming, sunny bedroom with its own next-door bathroom and access to the common areas including a fully furnished kitchen in the flat of the owner - an equally non-smoking, positive, responsible, well-travelled person - and French resident since 2000 - me :-)
The idea is to respect each other’s, as well as the neighbours’ privacy and need for concentration but also to share a bit of fun from time to time.
Common sense & respect, to me, includes treating the place and the furniture well, cleaning up after oneself and talking about any actions & decisions that also concern the other beforehand.
Happy to show you around and/ or to help you with your local organisation, the French language & culture :-)
