Dein zukünftiges Zimmer befindet sich in einem gepflegten Zustand und ist bereits voll möbliert. Die Möbel können nach Absprache kostenlos übernommen werden und gehören dann Dir. Das Zimmer ist circa 16 Quadratmeter groß und bietet durch den guten Schnitt genug Platz für ein Bett, Sofa, Schreibtisch, sowie mehrere Schränke. Lediglich ein neuer Lattenrost sowie Schreibtischstuhl werden benötigt, da diese leider nichtmehr funktionstüchtig sind.
Your future room is in well-maintained condition and is already fully furnished. The furniture can be taken over free of charge by arrangement and will then belong to you. The room is approximately 16 square meters in size and, thanks to its good layout, offers enough space for a bed, sofa, desk, and several wardrobes. Only a new slatted frame and an office chair are needed, as these are unfortunately no longer functional.
Die WG befindet sich in der Neuburger Straße 76, unweit der Bushaltestelle St. Anton. Somit deutlich außerhalb der Hochwassergrenze - die in Passau von sehr wichtiger Bedeutung ist.
Zu Fuß ist man in circa einer Minute an der Bushaltestelle, von dort aus dann in 4 Minuten am ZOB. Nach 3 weiteren Minuten ist man von dort an der Universität (WiWi/Philosophicum/Juri/KuWi). Fußläufig ist die Universität (Sporthalle und Informatik Gebäude) in circa 10 Minuten zu erreichen.
Ebenfalls befinden sich hinter dem Haus Parkplätze, die genutzt werden können - was in Passau sehr praktisch ist und nicht viele WG‘s in vergleichbarer Lage haben (war auch für mich der ausschlaggebende Grund damals)
The shared apartment is located at Neuburger Straße 76, not far from the St. Anton bus stop. It is well outside the flood zone, which is a crucial factor in Passau.
The bus stop is just a one-minute walk away, and from there, it takes four minutes to reach the central bus station (ZOB). Another three minutes by bus will take you to the university (WiWi, Philosophicum, Law, and Cultural Studies buildings). On foot, the university (sports hall and computer science building) is about a 10-minute walk away.
There are also parking spaces behind the house that can be used—something very convenient in Passau and not common for shared apartments in a similar location (which was also the deciding factor for me at the time).
Mit dir werden Julia (26) und Ghadeer (26), sowie Moustafa (28) zusammen in einer WG wohnen. Julia und Ghadeer sind beide (angehende) Assistenzärztinnen und Moustafa studiert im Master künstliche Intelligenz. Das WG Leben ist ist sehr angenehm und richtet sich komplett nach Dir. Wir sitzen gerne mal zusammen und unterhalten uns über unsere Tage, stören uns aber auch nicht daran, sollte man mal seine Ruhe haben woll. Ganz getreu dem Motto, alles kann, aber nichts muss.
You will be living in the shared apartment with Julia (26), Ghadeer (26), and Moustafa (28). Julia and Ghadeer are both (future) assistant doctors, while Moustafa is pursuing a master’s degree in artificial intelligence.
Life in the apartment is very relaxed and entirely up to you. We enjoy sitting together and chatting about our day, but we also respect each other’s need for personal space. Our motto is: everything is possible, but nothing is a must.
Da ich mein Masterstudium beende, werde ich nun Passau verlassen. Das Zimmer ist wie beschrieben bereits möbliert und kann daher ab sofort, dem 18.2, im März oder spätestens ab dem 1. April übernommen werden. Die Kosten setzen sich zusammen aus der Miete inklusive Nebenkosten von 316,06€ und dem Strom/Internet von knapp 60€, die wir selbst zahlen. Der Mietpreis ist also sehr gut, vorallem da die Parkplätze kostenlos genutzt werden können. Die Möblierung überlasse ich wie beschrieben kostenlos.

Since I am finishing my master’s degree, I will be leaving Passau. As mentioned, the room is already furnished and can be taken over immediately (from February 18th), in March, or by April 1st at the latest.
The costs consist of rent, including utilities, which is €316.06, plus around €60 for electricity and internet, which we pay separately. The rent is very reasonable, especially considering that the parking spaces can be used free of charge. As mentioned, I am leaving the furniture free of charge.
