Bright furnished room on the 1st floor with 15,6sqm living space.
We have exchanged the bed for a smaller one, and added a desk, as compared to in the pictures. The room has everything you'd need!
The windows are double glazed and have shutters that completely darken the room.
Your room has windows that look out onto the balcony.
This is a fully equipped house with a kitchen, bathroom with shower and bath, second toilet on the first floor, large living room, terrace, balcony and garden.
Washing machine, dryer and dishwasher are also available. A room with weights for training is also available.
In Plieningen you are lucky to enjoy fields and nature right next door (e.g. good for jogging), but at the same time to have a great connection to the city (on weekends also with the night bus).
We live 3 minutes walk from the bus stop Fraubronnstr.
-> it takes 5min to the University of Hohenheim (10min by bike)
-> 10min to the airport or the fair
-> 30min to the city
Shopping facilities are about 10min walk away (Netto, bakery, butcher; Edeka about 15min walk).
If you have a car, you can use the parking space provided next to the house.
Your roommates are Kevin and Yuhan , their 9 month year old cheerful son named Jamie and their au-pair Leonie. The common language in the house is English. Though everyone understands German as well (except maybe Jamie ;))
Currently living in the house:
- Kevin = 34 born and raised in Germany, he grew up in this house. He studied medicine and is now working at the Clinic in Tübingen. He is gone everyday of the week except for Wednesdays and the weekends.
- Yuhan = 32 is from China. She studied Psychology and is now mostly home taking care of Jamie.
- Leonie = 21 is from Madagascar. She is a very forthcoming and relaxed. Leonie helps take care of Jamie and also supports by cleaning a little bit in the house. She is also taking a German course.
The WG is open for spending time together, though nothing is forced. A spontaneous chat in the kitchen or planning a movie night together is possible.
What would we looking for with you?
We are open to the way you are. We would like to be able to talk comfortably with you. If we get along well, we are happy to hang out. But if it is not casual, we do not expect to spend our free time together.
We are especially careful not to be too noisy at bedtime. You are welcome to invite friends, but we do not enjoy a lot of loud parties. If you play a musical instrument, you will not disturb us or the neighbors when you practice during the day.
It's great if you speak English or are open to improving it, since that is the common language in the house.
We are excited to hear from you!!
