I'm looking for a person who wants to live with me in my beautiful, sun-pampered apartment on the edge of the forest.

Your room is spacious and bright. It is fully furnished with a bed, bedside table, lamps, chest of drawers, clothes rack, laundry basket, sofa, armchair and coffee table. On request, I can also provide you with a desk, chair, mirror and curtains. I have many room plants, and if you want a little green in your room, I can also leave you one or two plants for care!

The apartment was renovated 15 years ago, including a completely new bathroom and a new kitchen. I have a filtered shower head installed to make the water softer. All windows have electrical exterior blinds. In addition, I've installed fly screens to keep the insects out!

The kitchen is large and fully equipped with all important and some small appliances. You can use my dishes, pots and pans. I'm active in the FoodSharing community, so you can regularly count on some free food if you are interested in it.

There is a small balcony next to the kitchen for laundry drying, and a washing machine is available in the basement. There is also an attic that you can use for storage or drying your laundry.

I have high-speed cable internet as well as green electricity and gas. The building is regularly cleaned and supervised in the winter service so you don't have to worry about a week! Every 4-6 weeks I order a cleaning power for the thorough cleaning of bathroom and kitchen, so we only have to ensure order in between.

The nearest underground station is Wolfbusch, about a 12-minute walk away. Two stations further or about 25 minutes walk to the lion market in Weilimdorf, where there are numerous shops (Rewe, Lidl, dm, Deutsche Post, Restaurants, Bakeries, Clothing Shops, etc.).

If you have a car, you can park on the street for free. In general, it is also easy to find a place nearby.

The apartment is located on the top floor of the building (no worry, these are only two stairs!), so it is nicely quiet. Right behind the building is a large forest with countless paths to walk. You can walk through the forest until Lake Bärensee or Solitude Castle!

I'm a 37-year-old woman, originally from Long Island, New York. I have been living in Germany for more than 7 years and planning to stay here permanently. I used to be a dance teacher and I still like to dance socially. Nowadays I work as an English teacher, editor and curriculum designer. I work mainly from home, so it should be easy to change in the bathroom in the morning.

I am environmentally conscious and mainly vegetarian, although I sometimes eat dishes with meat that I get from FoodSharing. I don't have any meat in my kitchen. I have some serious allergies, so it is important that there are no nuts or peanuts in the apartment. Besides, I need a completely smoke-free home, so I'm not looking for someone who doesn't smoke at all.

I spent many years in WGs with different people and learned how important open communication is. It is normal that we sometimes get on the nerves – let's talk about it and find solutions that suit both of us! I have a full social calendar and at the same time enjoy the quiet times at home very much. I will therefore not often be available for joint ventures, but would be happy to find someone who likes to enjoy a friendly cup of tea or occasional joint shopping tours (depending on schedule).
