Internationals Welcome
Starting mid-October, one renovated rooms will be available in our new shared apartment in Weststadt. It's an old in the final stage of renovation, which is why we don't have much photos yet. The apartment is located on Schwärzlocher Straße, right on the edge of Tübingen in a quiet area near the Ammer river. The bus takes you to the old town in 5 minutes, and it's even quicker by bike. A large Rewe or Aldi is also nearby, and there are many lovely paths next to the house that lead through fields and into the forest.
The apartment is on the first floor and has a shared main entrance. Inside, there’s a relatively large hallway used as a living room, a kitchen, a bathroom, a separate toilet, and four rooms. Felix, Matic and Jaxon will live in two of the rooms, and two more are available. the free room faces towards the west to the edge of the town and will get afternoon/evening sun. The room is rented warm: is 23.5 square meters and costs €500. The room can be partially furnished, if wished (bed, wardrobe, desk), or we can help provide furniture if needed. As this is a newly established WG, we are looking for people who are interested in helping shape the household and actively participating in communal life.

Ab Mitte Oktober steht ein frisch renoviertes Zimmer in unserer neuen Wohngemeinschaft in der Weststadt zur Verfügung. Es handelt sich um einen Altbau, der gerade noch renoviert wird. Aus diesem Grund sind bisher auch noch keine Fotos vorhanden. Die Wohnung befindet sich in der Schwärzlocher Straße, direkt am Ortsrand von Tübingen, in einer ruhigen Lage nahe der Ammer. Mit dem Bus ist man in 5 Minuten in der Altstadt, mit dem Fahrrad noch schneller. Ein großer Rewe oder Aldi ist ebenfalls nicht weit, und direkt neben dem Haus gibt es viele schöne Wege, die über die Felder und in den Wald führen.
Die Wohnung liegt im ersten Stock und hat einen gemeinsamen Haupteingang. In der Wohnung gibt es einen relativ großen Flur, der als Wohnzimmer genutzt wird, eine Küche, ein Badezimmer, eine separate Toilette und vier Zimmer. In zwei der Zimmer wohnen bereits Felix und Matic, ein Zimmer ist noch frei. Das freien Zimmer zeigen nach Westen, Richtung Ortsausgang, und hat Nachmittag-/Abendsonne. Das Zimmer wird warm vermietet: und hat 23,5 Quadratmeter und kostet 480 € Miete. Das Zimmer kann bei Bedarf Teilmöbiliert (Bett, Schrank, Schreibtisch) ausgestattet werden, bei Bedarf können wir gerne helfen, noch Möbel zu besorgen. Da es sich um eine neu gegründete WG handelt, suchen wir vor allem Leute, die Lust haben, die WG mitzugestalten und am gemeinsamen Leben teilzunehmen.
About us:
Matic comes originally from Slovenia but has been living in Tübingen for the past 3 years. He's working as a social worker with children and youth with emotional difficulties who can't stay with their parents anymore. In his free time he's passionate about reading (he just started a book club!), all kinds of sports, but particularly basketball, skiing and paragliding. He talks a lot and laud and laughs even more and lauder.:)
Felix is born and raised in Pffefingen, so Swabian by blood, but his heart certainly is limited to it. For some time of his childhood lived in India, spent a few semesters in the UK and Prague and in the last years he has a special affinity for Istanbul which he visits frequently. He recently graduated in geography and now works as a teacher at a school with an alternative educational concept. He spends way too much time on eBay classifieds and has now gotten into dog breeding and training. One of the Felix dogs will also be living in the WG! When he’s not busy with his dogs, he does a lot of sports, especially calisthenics and cycling, and has an interest in some very niche and random topics. For all the words Matic is saying, Felix is surely thinking them.
Jaxon has joined the WG a month ago and has been helping out a lot with the renovation. He originally comes from Oregon, US and has been living in Tübingen for the past 2 years, working as a kitchen chef, while looking for a full time job as an English teacher. He is very, and I mean very passionate about cooking, beer, his girlfriend. When he needs a break he likes to do sports, play video games and listen to great music.
