THIS ROOM CAN BE ONLY RENTED OUT BY AN INTERNATIONAL STUDENT.
(This means a citizenship other than German is required.)
A room will be available in our shared apartment in a self-managed dormitory in Tübingen's old town in April (but the room can also be available sooner, in March)!
The room is approx. 11m2 in size and furnished. (wardrobe, shelf, armchair, desk and single bed) We share a kitchen, 2 toilets and 2 bathrooms in the shared apartment. Washing machine and dryer are available in the house and can be used free of charge. There is also a bicycle cellar and a community/party room that can be used throughout the house.
All additional costs are included in the price.
We value a shared living environment and usually talk in the kitchen, and try to do stuff together. Ofcourse, we respect your boundaries, and its never compulsory to participate :).
The house is located very centrally and yet quietly in Tübingen's old town.
The train station, shops, bus stops and many university buildings can be reached on foot in just a few minutes!
In the shared apartment we have a very communal atmosphere and enjoy cooking/eating together, having game nights or drinking coffee together. We have a cozy living room where we like to spend time together.
We try to have a shared evening once a week where we all cook together :)
Nevertheless, we all have our own rhythm and no one should feel obligated to do anything!
We also have good contact with the other two floors; we have a house meeting about once a month.
It is important to us that everyone feels comfortable in the shared apartment and we are happy to have open and empathetic new roommates. This also means: we do not tolerate any discriminatory ideas in our home!
However, living with us doesn't just mean becoming part of our shared life. As a self-managed dormitory, we are also a community, i.e. networked across the three floors of our house. As a house community, we organize a variety of events in our basement. These can be political, but also raves, home bars, flea markets or exhibitions. We would be very happy if you also had the motivation to get involved in the house beyond your shared life.
