The apartment will have two rooms free - 10m2 and 15m2. You can select one of them as your room. The second room will be used as a living/working/guest room. It is also possible to decide later on if you want to get another roommate from the next semester to save money on rent or just have one more nice person to live together. We used to be both 2 people and 3 people WG.
The apartment has all the necessary. The kitchen is rather small but we managed to cook every possible meal in this kitchen, including different cakes, ramen, lasagnas, borsch, quiche, and kimchi. The apartment also has a private cellar and a common cellar for bicycles and washing machines.
I will leave essential furniture in both rooms for a small compensation.

Es wird zwei freie Zimmer geben – ca. 10m² und ca. 15m². Du kannst eines davon als
dein Zimmer auswählen. Das weitere Zimmer kann als Wohn-/Arbeits-/Gästezimmer
genutzt werden. Ihr könntet euch auch dafür entscheiden, eine dritte Person im
weiteren Zimmer wohnen zu lassen, wenn ihr noch wen nettes findet oder selber noch
weniger zahlen wollt. Wir waren sowohl zu zweit als auch zu dritt in der WG. Die
Wohnung hat alles Notwendige. Unsere Küche ist eher klein, aber gut ausgestattet und wir haben schon viele verschiedene Gerichte gekocht, besonders gerne machen wir z.B. Borschtsch oder andere Suppen und Kimchi. Obwohl unser Ofen keine Standardgröße hat, haben wir schon oft verschiedene Kuchen, Quiche, und sogar ein paar Mal Brot gebacken. Außerdem gehört zu unserer Wohnung ein privater kleiner Keller. Fahrräder können im Gemeinschaftskeller abgestellt werden, dort ist auch unsere Waschmaschine zu finden. An den Keller grenzt ein kleiner teils überdachter und eingezäunter Außenbereich für Zweckmäßiges, wie Wäsche trocknen und Fahrräder reparieren.
Ich werde in beiden Zimmern wesentliche Möbel für eine kleine Entschädigung
zurücklassen.

The apartment is in a beautiful 1920s neighborhood. Right near the corner, you can find Nahkauf. Walking around 10 min, it is possible to reach Lidl and Rewe. It takes 7 min to the train station, 5 minutes to the swimming pool as well and to Weimarhalle Park. Goetheplatz is about 10 min away and Bauhaus Uni is 20 min away or 10 min by bike.

Die Wohnung befindet sich in der schönen Wohnsiedlung aus den 1920er Jahren. Gleich an der Ecke finden Sie Nahkauf. In ca. 10 Minuten Fußweg erreichen Sie Lidl und Rewe. Zum Bahnhof sind es 7 Min., zum Schwimmbad 5 Min. sowie zum Weimarhallenpark, der sich zum Laufen oder für entspannende Abendspaziergänge eignet. Der Goetheplatz ist ca. 10 min entfernt und die Bauhaus Uni ist in 20 min oder 10 min mit dem Fahrrad zu erreichen.

After almost 5 years, I am leaving my lovely WG. You will live with my best-ever roommate Lukas (currently at B.Sc. Umweltingenieurwissenschaften at Bauhaus Uni).
We often met in the kitchen for small talk or a shared vegetarian dinner or a common evening walk. We also used to be quite active and went spontaneously for hikes, bouldering, runs, yoga, cycling, or picking up some apples. Lukas also does unicycling. We do sometimes brunches, small dinners with friends, or common celebrations but we are rather quiet WG with a lot of space to work and study.
We also always have good communication so we managed to keep it clean without a cleaning schedule, but you can, of course, renegotiate the common living and cleaning schedule to your needs.

Nach fast 5 Jahren verlasse ich nun meine liebgewonnene WG. Du wirst mit meinem
besten Mitbewohner Lukas wohnen (derzeit im B.Sc. Umweltingenieurwissenschaften
an der Bauhaus Uni). Wir trafen uns oft in kleinen Gesprächen oder einem
gemeinsames vegetarisches Abendessen oder zum Nachmittags- oder
Abendspaziergang. Wir waren auch gerne aktiv und gingen spontan wandern, bouldern,
laufen, Rad fahren oder Äpfel pflücken. Lukas fährt auch Einrad. Manchmal machen wir
Brunch, kleine Abendessen mit Freunden oder feiern gemeinsam, wenn etwas ansteht.
Dennoch sind wir eine eher ruhige WG mit viel Platz zum Arbeiten und Lernen. Durch
gute Kommunikation haben wir es geschafft haben, ohne einen Putzplan
klarzukommen, aber natürlich könnt ihr Putzplan und weitere Angelegenheiten unter
euch neu ausmachen.
