Hallo ihr Lieben!!
Wir sind Aaron, Julia, Elena, Jessi, Konrad, Seraphina, Lilli, Paula, Mathilda, Lucas, Kevin, Lena, Pola und Nele, sind alle zwischen 19 und 28 und gespannt auf neue Mitbewohner:innen! ;) Manche von uns studieren Medienkultur, Architektur, Urbanistik, Kunstlehramt, machen ein FSJ oder arbeiten. Dementsprechend sind wir ein netter zusammengewürfelter Haufen aus unterschiedlichen Menschen, die gerne in einer lustigen Gemeinschaft wohnen.
Mitte Februar geht eine Mitbewohnerin (Oriana) ins Praxissemester ins Ausland. Für die Zwischenzeit wird dieses Zimmer bei uns möbliert zur Untermiete frei. Es kostet 320€ im Monat für Miete und Nebenkosten und ist 11 qm groß. Über das Einzugsdatum können wir gerne noch quatschen. :)

We are Aaron, Julia, Elena, Jessi, Konrad, Seraphina, Lilli, Paula, Mathilda, Lucas, Kevin, Lena, Pola and Nele, we are all between 19 and 28 and are looking forward to meeting our new flatmate ;) Some of us are studying media culture, architecture, urban studies, art teaching, are doing a voluntary social year or are working. Therefore, we are a nice bunch of different people who enjoy living in a fun community.
In mid-February, one of our flatmates (Oriana) will be going abroad for her intership. In the meantime, this furnished room in our apartment will be available for sublet. The rent is €320 per month, including utilities, and the room is 11 square meters in size. We can definitely chat about the move-in date. :)
Die WG befindet sich direkt am wunderschönen Ilmpark. Es ist einfach und sehr, sehr schön, sich sein Essen zu schnappen und dort zu picknicken oder einfach nach einem langen Tag spazieren zu gehen. Neben uns ist das Bienenmuseum und gegenüber eine Sparkasse. Eine Bäckerei, eine Apotheke, eine Arztpraxis und ein Friseursalon sind nicht weit entfernt und in ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß ist jeweils ein Nahkauf in der Bodelschwinghstraße und Taubacher Straße zu erreichen. Auch der Sportplatz und die Turnhalle der Uni (die Falkenburg) ist nur wenige Minuten entfernt.
Und mit dem Fahrrad erreicht man die Innenstadt durch den Ilmpark und die Belvederer Allee in 5-10 Minuten.

The shared flat is located directly at the beautiful Ilmpark. It's easy and very, very nice to grab your food and have a picnic there or just go for a walk after a long day. Next to us is the bee museum and opposite is the Sparkasse. A bakery, a pharmacy, a doctor and a hairdresser are also right infront of the house and a Nahkauf in the Bodelschwingh Street and Taubacher Street can be reached in about 10 minutes on foot. The university sports ground and gymnasium (Falkenburg) is also just a few minutes away.
And you can reach the city center by bike through the Ilmpark or Belvederer Avenue (Allee) in 5-10 minutes.
Die WG ist eine bunte Mischung aus Studierenden und Arbeitenden. Trotz so vielen verschiedene Menschen, ist es auch oft ruhig, da alle zu unterschiedlichen Zeiten im Haus sind.
Die WG hat 2 Küchen (mit je 2 Kühlschränken und Gefrierschränken), 4 Badezimmer (je Badezimmer eine Dusche), einen kleinen Wäsche-Raum mit 2 Waschmaschinen und 2 weitere Waschmaschinen + Trockner im Erdgeschoss. Einen kleinen Hof mit Fahrradschuppen gibt es auch, wo wir ab und zu gerne zusammen grillen.
Natürlich ist bei 15 Leuten auch immer jemand da und wenn es sich ergibt, wird auch mal zusammen gekocht und/oder gequatscht.
Zum Abend hin kommen meist mehrere Menschen zusammen, freuen sich über lustige Gespräche und verabreden sich oft zum Filme oder Serien-Schauen. All das ist keine Pflicht. Alles kann, nichts muss! :)
Vorteil der WG ist ebenfalls, dass man schnell und einfach mit anderen Leuten aus der Uni in Kontakt kommt, weil jede:r Mitbewohner:in herzlich dazu eingeladen ist, Freund:innen einzuladen.
WG-Partys werden gerne veranstaltet oder gemeinsame Spieleabende..

The shared flat is a colorful mix of students and workers. Despite so many different people, it is often quiet, as everyone is at home at different times the day.
The shared flat has 2 kitchens (each with 2 fridges and freezers), 4 bathrooms (one shower per bathroom), a small laundry room with 2 washing machines and 2 more washing machines + dryers on the first floor. There is also a small courtyard with a bicycle shed where we like to barbecue together from time to time.
Of course, with 15 people there's always someone around and when the occasion arises, we sometimes cook together or just chit chat.
In the evening, several people usually get together, enjoy fun conversations and often arrange to watch movies or series. None of this is compulsory! :)
Another advantage of shared flats is that you can quickly and easily get in touch with other people from the university, because every flatmate is welcome to invite friends.
We like to organize flat share parties or joint games evenings...
Wir freuen uns über Leute, die gesellig und aufgeschlossen sind und kein Problem damit haben, wenn man mal mehrere Leute in der Küche antrifft. Wir wollen keine Zweck-WG.

We welcome people who are sociable and open-minded and have no problem with having several people in the kitchen. We don't want a functional flat share.
