Hello!
Starting in July, I'll be moving into a new flat and I'm looking to create a cozy flatshare with two roommates who share my excitement for turning it into a home.
The apartment is brand new and spread across two floors. The first floor has two spacious rooms (13m² and 16m²), along with a bathroom, while the second floor has a third room (10m²), another bathroom, and shared living spaces. With two bathrooms, we can decide on shared or private use for each, making it convenient for everyone. The kitchen is large and fully equipped with a dishwasher, hotplates, oven, and a washing machine. It opens up into a bigger space where we can set up a cozy common area (perfect for the video projector I already have!). There's also a bright area with plenty of windows, perfect for plants and creating another chill-out space. Plus, we have a big terrace, which is a real highlight of the flat for me !
Since this is a new flatshare, everyone can choose their room and we can discuss bathroom arrangements later. However, the previous tenant is leaving behind some furniture, including a sofa, a desk with a chair and a bed, which we can purchase from them.
The flat is located between two metro stations (U2 Messe-Prater, U1 Vorgarten). Groceries shop are less than 5 minutes away by walk (Lidll, Billa, Spar). This flat is also the perfect location for nature lovers and summer bath, as it is just next to Donauinsel. You can also reach prater by walk in less than 20 minutes, and reach the center of Vienna in less than 15 minutes with the metro.
A bit about me:
I'm Marie, a 24-year-old currently pursuing a PhD in empathy in pigs at Vetmed (all animals are welcome in the flat). Outside of my studies, I'm a pretty easy going, cheerfull, and active person. You'll often find me outdoors, whether it's hiking, climbing, practicing yoga, or trying to master inline skating at Donauinsel. I also enjoy going out for drinks or dinner with friends. For me, it's not just about sharing a space but sharing moments together, like dinners or enjoying a few beers on our future terrace. That said, I also value my alone time. :)
The rent for the smallest room will be 550 euros, and for the largest room, it will be 650 euros. These prices include additional costs such as electricity and gas, based on the previous tenant's usage.
I currently speak English and French (my native language), but my German is quite inexistant. I plan to improve my German skills over the next three years, but for now, it's best to communicate in English for me.
In your message, I'd love to learn more about you—your daily life, interests, and thoughts on living together.
The flat will be available for visits starting from June 1st when I move in. If you need more photos before then, just let me know!
