Only for long term rent as of 1st March (1,5 years minimum stay, preferably longer).
High preference for flatmates who work fulltime outside.

Parquet floor (real wood).
Furnished: bed 140 x 200, white desk with chair and lamp, white cupboard with hangers and drawers for clothes, black out curtains, night table, bed lamp. Bookshelf.
Everything you need is in the apartment.
I provide blankets, towels and bedsheets.
It is not possible to bring furniture, only small things that fit in your room.
The room is only for 1 person. Having somebody over regularly for one night during the week is fine, but not several nights of a week.
It is ok every now and then to have guests from abroad for a few days, though not every month please.
A second room for short term rental will also become available as of 1st September, see my other ad.
The location is an absolute dream! It cant get more central and historically beautiful than this.
One of the most sought after spots in town to live: historic Spittelberg in the centre of Vienna, the artsy Mont Martre of Vienna. Cobblestone pedestrian street with solely historic buildings, no cars pass by the house, very quiet. Coolest district with lots of trendy cafes, restaurants, galleries and cool concept stores: young creative crowd. Right behind Museumsquartier. 1,5 blocks from biggest shopping street Mariahilfer Strasse. 2 blocks from 1st district. 1 minute walk to tram 49 and 3 min walk to subway U3 (Station Volkstheater). 7mins walk to the Ring with all its trams (and then 5’ to Staatsoper).
Great to move around with your bike. Car parking garage (to be paid separately) is 5’ walk away.
I (37) work fulltime as a project manager, and on the side I am a singer in an event band (weddings, balls, corporate events, etc). I work partly outside and partly at my home office, though am away for several days regularly in another province. Many weekends I sing at events. Normally I dont have a lot of leisure time to share with you.
I have a Masters degree in Counseling, although I presently dont work in this field. I enjoy bike rides, dancing, artistic happenings and would like to get into Yoga. I started a salsa dancing course and enjoy going out to dance salsa, there are several clubs in walking distance from my house. I go to the gym 2-3x/week, maybe you want to come with me? My gym is brand new, lots of daylight and also super cheap!
I hardly ever cook, am actually really bad at it (so sorry!), but we could give it a try together, I am eager to learn.
Travelled the world and open-minded. Lived in various countries in 3 continents. Many adventurous life stories to share. Im happy to let you know about cultural events in Vienna every week, many of them free of charge and in walking distance from my home. My artist friends keep me informed..
I´m a non-strict vegetarian, I eat meat maybe twice a month, if at all.
It is a big kitchen to hang out.
We have a cat.
The only place we can be noisy after 10pm (to keep neighbors happy) is the kitchen, which has a table, bench and chairs and nice warm lighting to sit together. You can invite friends and hang out there. The kitchen is far away from the bedrooms so you have privacy there.
Kitchen is fully equipped.
We do not have a TV.
We like it tidy and clean in the entire apartment. Its a clutter-free well organized place.
We share the kitchen and bathroom with a bathtub.
There are 2 toilets, separate from bathroom.
Its not a party place. I have friends over, but not every weekend, I need peace to unwind. But you may have friends over to hang out at the kitchen table and have small parties any time, we keep each other informed beforehand.
The living room is generally my private space (home office) and can be used occasionally upon prior agreement, especially the nights I am out singing and also whenever I am away in another province (1-2x/month for some days, in summer more often).
I look forward to good conversations and happy moments with you when time permits, mostly this happens spontaneously, I hope it is ok for you I cannot chat or cook with you every day, since many days I finish work in the late evenings and often need time to myself to unwind or need to practice for a singing gig. But I also love the evenings where we have a glass of wine or cups of tea to unwind together or you can join me to some arts events in the city or we go dancing.
I only accept non-smokers.
I will provide towels and bed sheets, summer and winter blankets, pillows, kitchen is fully equipped.
Price includes gas, electricity, heating, wireless internet, insurance.
Cleaning lady comes every 2 weeks, we share her costs (=your share would be €50/month). Please add this to the rental payments.
End cleaning fee upon your departure: € 50 (incl. all blankets and pillows etc will be washed 60 degrees, thats how you will also receive everything, super clean).
There is an upright piano, a guitar and 2 Ukuleles you can play.
I prefer flatmates who dont cook meat, fish and curry very often, because of the smell. But it wont be a reason for disinterest in you, there are more important things than that :-D
