One of the rooms is located in the second floor of a small house with garden.
İt is Cozy, 13m2, with a window facing a large hazelnut tree and sunrise, and has good temperature (cool in summer, warm in winter). İt is, however accesible through the passage room. So far people living in these two connected rooms could manage their privacy and discuss issues like noise toleration or guests without any issues. The house community is committed to finding a solution if different needs come up, like we could built a separation around the passage corridor together. The room has a 140*200 bed with storage space underneath (very handy for cloths) a clothing rack, a heater, and we have desks in the house that can be used. Rent is 330 euros all included, deposit is two months rent.
a 50€ would be asked for the recent changes in the room decoration: book shelves, more storage space and lighting systems, a carpet, hight adjustable table and cute hangers.
possible moving in would be from 20th of Feb till April the first. that means between these months is the ideal time for the house to welcome you. (İt is a long term Room)
The second room is on the second floor as well, facing south. İt's a spacious and sunny 16m2 room with direct view to the street, direct sunlight. İt's rent is 380. İt is fully equipped with furniture, bed, table, armchair and a wardrobe. İt too is easily heated in the wintera and easily aired in the summer. İt's next to the upstairs bathroom. And charged with trans positive energy and love <3
İt can be rented anytime starting beginning of March and latest beginning of April.
We collect 100 euros from each person per month for shared food. This common money should cover all needs, but if you want to buy your food entirely separately, this is also possible and a compensation of around 20-25€ is needed for common needs (cat food and care, Sanitary products)
The house has 2 living rooms of 20 m2 (ground floor), with a fireplace, 1 kitchen with a dishwasher, induction stove, oven and etc. 1 bathroom with bathtub, 1 extra shower, 3 toilets, and a central heating system. There is also a big garden with a campfire site, a basement, a washing machine and dryer (basement), a small workshop, and a roofed space for bicycles is in the yard. The house is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible nor suitable for visually impaired people, but we can make the house more accessible for visits.
The house is in a quiet and calm area however at the same time it is only 5 minutes walk to the next bus- station (62A Stachegasse), around 7 minutes to the next tram and S-bahn Hetzendorf. It will take you around 20 minutes to get to the city center Rennweg and Wien Mitte. depending on where you go. Supermarkets (Hofer, Spar, Billa, DM, Bauhaus, Pharmacies...) and nice parks are just a short walking distance. There is going to be 2 bikes available for you. Please keep that in mind that any possible damages to them should be covered by yourself.
We are commited to have individual tasks to take care of each other and the house. possible task would be to clean the 2 living rooms and cat toilet upstairs which can be discussed ofcourse!

Our house is a community of currently 10 people and four cats living together in a 180 m² house with a 500 m² garden in Meidling (12th district), Hetzendorf area. We live collectively to some extent, creating the grounds on which we can organize living together in an inclusive, powerful, and non-hierarchical way - through dedicating some time to communication, plenums, decision-making processes etc. We collectively share tasks relevant to the whole community, like shopping, cooking, repair works, cleaning, etc. Apart from these 'basic necessities', there are spontaneous collective activities, hanging out, and having fun together. Also, we speak English as a common language at the house!
At the moment we are a FLINTA*-only WG. That means, we do not want to live with cis men, please only apply if you are nonbinary, trans, inter, or female and have interest in feminist theory and practice :) We identify with anticapitalism, feminism, anti-racism and try to self-reflect upon these theories. We have a house plenum every 2 weeks whis is very important part of the community to contribute to. We like to spend time together inside and outside the house and also like to host guests snd share the joy:)
