You will live in a big, bright with a parquet floor in a very inviting and recently renovated flat. It is located in a historic building in the centre of the lively district of Josefstadt ( 8th). The street in front of the building is not very busy and the neighbourhood is very pleasant overall.
The room will be unfurnished and one of the corners has a very cute old fireplace in it.

Our flat is in the 8th district, well known for its typical Viennese architecture. There are several cafés, bars, shops and supermarkets nearby. We also have a small park about 100 m away that includes ping pong tables and a lovely garden to sit and read in. The historic city centre and the Universities of Vienna (Uni Wien and TU Wien) are very close and easy to reach by foot, bike or public transport.

My name is Desiree, and I will be your flatmate :) I am 34 years old and have a degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice. I was born and raised in Hanover, Germany and moved to Vienna about 8 years ago and have really gotten to appreciate this city over time. I always struggle to describe myself, but I overall I would describe myself as an open-minded, curious and spontaneous person. I enjoy going out to cafes/ restaurants and the movies and of course - like everyone - I also love to travel :)

To me an apartment serves as a place to relax, get some me-time and rest. Of course I also enjoy the socializing part but overall I would just like the communication to be easy and naturally flowing. I think seeking balance in this way is always a good way to go and I hope to find someone that has similar views in that regard.
