Our room is perfect for anyone looking for a comfortable and space-saving place to stay.
It features a loft bed (less than 2 years old) that will stay for a cost of 250€.
The room is in fact 12m² but with the very spacious loft bed you basically have a second floor with an extra 4m² and hence the room feels much bigger :)
Although the window faces north, there is still plenty of natural light that comes in, creating a bright and welcoming atmosphere.
The room is located next to the kitchen, but rest assured, we are very respectful and do our best to keep the noise level down.
Kirchengasse 48 is a prime location in the heart of Vienna. It is situated in the trendy 7th district.
Getting around is easy, as the Kirchengasse 48 is well connected to public transportation. The 13A stops directly in front of the house and the 48A is just around the corner. The nearest metro station is Volkstheater U3, which is just a 10-minute walk away.
There are plenty of supermarkets nearby, like: Billa (1 min), Hofer (3 min), Spar (3 min).
The area is known for its many little art galleries, boutiques, cafes, theaters and restaurants. You'll find everything from traditional Viennese cuisine to international cuisine, making it a foodie's paradise.
Unfortunately our little international family is losing a beloved member. Sadly, Alice is moving out at the end of June. However an ending is also always a new beginning: We are already excited to meet and welcome our new flat member with open arms :)
Who are we?:
Rossella, 29, from Italy, is working at a medical company and plans to graduate in pedagogical sciences. In an ideal world she would be surrounded by chocolate and dogs.
Chris, 36, from Germany, is a global studies graduate who enjoys running and staying active in his free time. He's always happy to have a cup of coffee together and have a nice conversation in the kitchen.
María, 28, from Spain, is a programmer who loves to dance salsa. She's usually the first to go to bed, but when she's not working, you can find her on the dance floor.
Adri, 29, also from Spain, is a biologist and dance teacher. He has a keen interest in biology and science, and loves to share his knowledge with others. He is Maria's boyfriend.
Carla, 28, also from Italy, is a environmental engineer. She likes reading and to spend time outside, preferably in the nature. In her free time, she is probably hiking or visiting a new city.
We enjoy spending time together, whether it's going to the cinema, playing board games at home, going for a run, or enjoying a summer day by the Danube. We also love having dinner together from time to time - everything in a casual atmosphere. As much as we love spending time together we respect private space and alone time.
Every once in a while we host a home party (e.g. birthdays) but we are definitely past our soul-searching high life student prime. Guests are always a welcome change in the daily routine and since we are 5, we quite frequently have visitors from everywhere.
A communal sense is important to us. We would love to find a person who is respectful with others, ecologically sustainable open minded and who wants to live with us long term. When it comes to cleaning, we follow our tried and trusted antiauthoritarian system without a schedule. Each of us has their area of responsibility and we do it when we find the time for it.

We do have 2 toilets and 2 bathrooms (each bathroom is share by 3 people). The hallway is big enough to have a couch and a little TV area, but we spend most of the time in the kitchen anyway :)
