Our home is a ground floor flat is just across the Lohmühlenbrücke. The flat is a brightly lit 90m2 with two rooms – one bedroom and one office, which has a sofa bed (double bed). So up to 4 people can easily stay at ours.
Our large living room and kitchen both have access to our lovely terrace, which gets sun from the morning til around 2 or 3pm. The living room has a nice speaker system and large couch with projector for watching movies on (with a large wall space for projection purposes.
Our kitchen is well-equipped with fridge, freezer, dishwasher, induction cooking hob and a great eating area right by the window and door to the terrace. Our bathroom has both shower and bathtub…and we have under floor heating, so it’s very cosy in the winter. We also have electric blinds in all rooms.
We live on the boarder of Neukölln and Alt Treptow right by the canal and the Lohmühlenbrücke. The canal is literally steps away from the apartment. If you want to get into the busy bars and restaurants of Neukölln, you can get there by foot in about 10 minutes. In the other direction you can reach Treptower park in about 15 to 20 minutes walking. Then there is also the canal that you can follow to Maybachufer, Kottbusserdamm and the rest of Kreuzberg. Our apartment has an amazing park for kids, called Weichselplatz, just a 2 minute walk away too. In there you'll also find table tennis and basketball. For supermarkets we have an Edeka, Aldi and Lidl all a 10 minute walk away on Maybachufer too. If you are looking for bread there is a bakery called Cafe Bread nearby.
