Hi, I am a writer, living in a beautiful, newly renovated flat on top floor with sweeping views over the river Spree, close to Oberbaumbrücke. The apartment comes with a spectacular glass tower offering 360 degree views over the city. Comfy beds, a great kitchen with dish washer, toaster, juicer etc., wooden floors, 2 new large TV sets, large (English and German) book shelf, vintage record collection, great stereo, balcony, amazing roof terrace, elevator etc.
Available from December 15, 2024, to January 15, 2025
120€ per day, 600 per week, 2200 per month.
Fantastic location in the very heart of Kreuzberg. Everything close by: Clubs, Restaurants, cafes, shops, public transport etc.
The glass tower is the special feature of this place, and you won’t find anything like it elsewhere in Berlin. That is why a lot of my friends who have lived in this city for many years call it: „Simply the best Apartment“.
A few ideas about the neighboorhood:
One of Berlin’s best bakeries is on Cuvrystrasse, two blocks down towards the park. It is called „Beumer & Lutum“.
If you want to shop organic, there is an organic store at Schlesisches Tor called Biocompany.
Also there is a supermarket open till 11 pm (except Sundays) on the corner of Falckenstein and Wrangel. The fish store on Wrangel close to Falckenstein is good. The large Turkish supermarket on Wrangel between Oppelner and Falckenstein is cheap and best.
A good wine shop is on Falckenstein, called „Noer“.
There are lots of inexpensive tasty restaurants on Falckenstein.
A special place is „Schlesisch Blau“: great atmosphere, and great Southern German food. A bit hard to get a table. Try booking in advance.
I like the vegan Asian place on Lausitzer Straße called Caphe Hoa II.
A nice coffee place is Passenger, on Oppelner Straße.
Clubs and such: Club der Visionäre is always a good starting point. Hoppetosse close-by is interesting (it is located on a ship). Watergate (very close) is a classic. The presumably best club in Berlin is Berghain. Best time to go is Sunday morning. Chalet could be ok, but we haven’t been.
The neighorhood is lively, and safe.
It is ideal for one person, 2 people, even four friends. Or someone with kids is also perfect.
