Berlin Mitte is vibrant and busy, but my flat is quiet as it is next to an office building and a park. We have a great community in our building, so if you need any help, no problem. There is a park, beach volley ball fields, and a small outdoor beach bar, in the street of my flat. You can walk to the famous Torstrasse in 10 minutes. There are many restaurants, cafes, bars and some clubs. Also art galleries and design / art shops. After a 20 mins walk you are at the river Spree which you can stroll along and walk e.g. along the river to the museum island and the Berlin Dom (Cathedral).

There is a big park "Humboldthain" to go running, do yoga, rose-garden, public swimming pool. Supermarket is 3 mins walk down the road. The vibrant Torstrasse is just 10 mins walk. I enjoy the galleries and cafes on Linienstrasse and Auguststrasse. The neighbor-community is warm and helpful if you need anything. There is a lift.
