I am subletting my lovely flat in Pankow for about one and a half months, flexible. It is the last floor of a renovated altbau and has an elevator, but is unfortunately not accessible with a wheelchair because of a few steps.
The main bedroom is very large and bright, and has a perfect studio corner with desk, chair and monitor.
The guest / studio room has storage space for your clothes etc., a sofa bed, and a smaller desk + chair. I'll move most of my stuff here, so you have space in the bedroom's chest of drawers and clothes hanger.
The living room is also bright and comfortable, comfy new couch, and has a small but well equipped kitchen corner. Internet is of course included.
As this is a vegan household, I would appreciate it a lot if no meat or fish is cooked in the house <3 and if smoking could be restricted to the living room only with the windows open.
Big plus if you are a plant lover and would like to take care of my babies!
My neighbours are really sweet and welcoming; should you need any help I'd put you in contact with them.
Supermarkets: one Netto five minutes away and Edeka at S+U Pankow.
Tram 50 is three minutes away, and the S Bahn stations Pankow and Pankow-Heinersdorf are equally far, about ten minutes walk. At Pankow Kirche you also have the M1 tram and some buses.
This part of Pankow is green and quiet, the lovely Schlosspark Pankow is ten minutes to the north, and if you walk West along the Panke you will encounter Burgerpark Pankow with its cute Biergarten, and the small but mighty Schonholz forest!
In the direction of Pankow Kirche, there are cute cafes and restaurants, bakeries and shops of any kind, and if you keep walking West towards Rathaus Pankow, you have the big shopping mall with everything you need and don't, including Post office, Apotheke, etc.
A building is sadly being built in our beautiful ex garden. It is quite annoying, but it won't bother you at all when home since the flat's windows all face the other direction.
You can park your bike, and hang your laundry if the weather is nice, in the neighbours backyard, the access is the same to ours. We share the garbage bins with them as well.
