Hi,
we are going abroad for some time, so we'd like to rent our 1-bedroom flat to some nice people - a single person or a couple. Sorry, no children and no pets.
(Please note that this flat will be rented to working people only! We will need to see a proof of income. Schufa (request now) would be nice too:) ).
The flat (55 m2) was renovated several years ago. It is located on the ground floor and all the windows are facing inner yard, so it is a fairly quiet place. Plus you can put a table and a couple of chairs there - and enjoy your very own cute garden!:)
Important information about the flat:
- the flat is rented by the owner, so there will be an official contract signed and you can have the registration (Anmeldung) in this apartment;
- there is one spacious bedroom with double bed (160x200), big mirror and wardrobe;
- living room (you get through it to the bedroom) with sofa-bed, dining/working table and 3 chairs, bookcase, etc.
- separate fitted kitchen with all amenities (stove, owen, microwave, fridge with freeze, etc. Sorry, no dishwasher);
- bathroom with WC, shower cabin, washing machine;
- storage room;
- it is an old building (1904, I think), so you can enjoy the high ceilings;
- the price includes all the bills (electricity, water, heating) and fast Wi-Fi, too!
The rent per month is 1200 EUR + fixed utility costs (ALL included!) 190 EUR for one person
(+50 EUR per month for second person for double water consumption and extra electricity).

- Transport:
The location is perfect - honestly! It is 1 minute walk to U-Bahn metro station "Amrumer Straße" and to a bus, which will take you directly to Berlin Central Station (Hauptbahnhof) in about 15 min.
Westfahen station (for Ring) is just about 10 min. walk, Wedding - around 15 min.
- Nature and walks:
On weekend you can have a nice walk to the Reichstag or Tiergarten - you can reach it in about 30 minutes on foot.
There is a water canal in 200 meters distance from the apartment.
And there is even a lake nearby!:) If you like nature and long walks, you will love our area whole year round!
- Shopping:
It's like 3 minutes walk to small "Edeka" (big, new "Edeka" is near Wedding station - about 15 min. on foot. Plus there is a "Netto", too)
- Area:
There is a University nearby and all in all this area is becoming more and more popular with young, bright, artistic people (and hipsters:))), so there are many cute interesting cafes and bars around and new ones are opening on a regular basis.
Last but not least - there are 2 local breweries which offer craft beer! One of them can be reached in 15 min. by public transport and another one - just in 5 minutes on foot!;)
The contract will be signed for one year (starting from September 29, 2024), after which it can be extended for a longer period.
We will need all the usual stuff like your proof of income (employment contract with salary written in it would suit perfectly!) and IDs.
The rent per month is 1200 EUR + fixed utility costs (ALL included!) 190 EUR for one person
(+50 EUR per month for second person for double water consumption and extra electricity).
Please keep in mind that before the beginning of your rent you will have to pay a deposit and a rent for the first month.
