Die Landgrafenstrasse mündet wenige Meter weiter in die Märkische Strasse, welche direkt in das, in nur wenigen Minuten zu Fuss erreichbare Zentrum von Dortmund, führt. Direkt um die Ecke findet man das Stadtwäldchen zum spazieren und entspannen. Für den täglichen Bedarf gibt es nur wenige Häuser weiter einen großen modernen REWE Supermarkt und weitere kleine Geschäfte. Die Fussgängerzone der City von Dortmund ist auch über die unmittelbar vor der Haustüre gelegene U-Bahn-Station in weniger als 5 Minuten zu erreichen. Somit liegen alle denkbaren Einkaufsmöglichkeiten quasi vor der Türe. Dennoch ist es in diesem Viertel sehr ruhig und grün, es kann wohl als eine der besten Lagen in Dortmund bezeichnet werden.
