Ähnlich nah ist auch die Rethelstr. mit ihren hervorragenden Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, die ebenfalls nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt ist. Auch befinden sich zahlreiche Restaurants, Kneipen und Bistros in der Umgebung. Der Stadtteil Düsseldorf-Zoo (Düsselthal) ist bei den Düsseldorfern generell für einen hohen Wohnwert bekannt.
