Die Wohnung liegt ruhig (Stadeln), in einer Nebenstrasse (Buchenstrasse). Im Sommer wird die Fassade saniert. Das Mehrfamilienhaus hat einen Gemeinschaftsgarten, einen kleinen Süd-Balkon und eine Wohnküche (Westfenster) mit Spülmaschine, Herd, Waschmaschine. Bei Bedarf kann ein Kühlschrank zur Verfügung gestellt werden. Die Türen wurden neu lackiert und ein heller Vinylboden wurde vor 1,5 Jahren verlegt. Das Wohnzimmer ist ein Durchgangszimmer hin zum Schlafzimmer und zum Balkon (Südausrichtung). Die Küche hat eine Westausrichtung. Das Bad hat ein großes Fenster und eine Badewanne. Die Waschmaschine steht im Augenblick in der Küche, kann aber auch ins Bad gestellt werden.
Es gibt Ärzte, zwei Supermärkte (einer circa 200 m entfernt, Edeka), ein Schwimmbad. Die S-Bahnstation Vach (Richtung Erlangen) ist circa 1,5 km entfernt. Die Buslinie 174 ist 300m entfernt. Nach Erlangen fährt man 40 min mit dem Fahrrad, in die Fürther Innenstadt circa 20 Minuten.
