The apartment is a tidy two-and-a-half bedroom set-up, with a sizable terrace on the north side and a balcony off the bedroom to the south. The floors are wood, the ceilings high and the central heating keeps everything warm. The apartment seems bigger than it actually is, due to its layout. And it is old, so it has some style, but it is in good condition, too.
Despite a street address in the middle of party-town, this cosy gem is nestled in the back of a quiet courtyard. This means the best of both worlds: immediate access to the cafes in St. Pauli, the Reeperbahn on your doorstep (S-Bahn two minute walk) and the river Elbe not much further, but, due to its positioning, all the quiet of a more conservative location.
There are two cats that live with me, siblings. They are friendly and would probably rather stay put and keep an eye on the apartment while I'm gone. If this is undesirable, however, I have a friend around the corner who could take them for the duration of your stay.
