British Professional moving to Offenbach

British Design Engineer relocating to Offenbach for work and currently learning the German language.

I am a 29-year-old working professional for a globally based construction company as a Design Engineer. I have been working from home (currently Muenster) since November last year but I am looking to start an office-based position as soon as possible in the Heusenstamm Area with the same company.

I am searching for a homely place to live that is within cycling distance from my place of work, the city centre, and an easy commute to local shops/stations. I believe in keeping a clean environment, I don't smoke, I enjoy cooking and I keep myself to myself when possible but also enjoy socialising where possible. I am polite, creative and active individual who enjoys sketching, reading, music and cycling. I would look to move as soon as possible as I have a number of belongings I need to transport to Germany from my previous household in the UK.
