A cozy single-room apartment in Wedding - the multi-cultural district in Berlin - very close to the center
The apartment is located in a very active district - Wedding - in a student and youth area, close to Sprenglerkiez, where there are plenty of youth bars, to Mauerpark, to the Park "Humboldthein" and the famous "Berlin Bunkers". You will find a lot of bars around and oriental cuisine locations. The apartment is just one minute from Leopoldplatz U-bahn station (U6 and U9).
On Leopoldplatz you will meet the local food and flea markets twice a week and a few lovely coffee places.
The U-bahn runs until 1 o'clock in the morning during the week, and throughout the night from Friday to Saturday and from Saturday to Sunday.
Transport links:
· U9 from Leopoldplatz - 10 min. to Zoologischer Garten
· U6 from Leopoldplatz - 12-13 minutes to Friedrichstraße (city center)
· Just around the corner by the canal there is a large Turkish market with fresh fruit, vegetables, fish, and everything you need, together with live music. In the summer it’s a perfect place to go to for breakfast
The Apartment:
A one-room apartment, 51 sq. m. area. Spacious and bright - truly charming with high ceilings, large windows and a solid wooden floor.
· Room: a double bed (140cm x 200cm), sofa (isn't visible in pictures), armchairs, working desk
· Fully equipped kitchen/dining room
· Small bathroom with WC and shower
· All amenities: washing machine, fridge, kettle, plates, pans, cutlery, iron, electric stove with oven
· Bed linen and bath towels are included
The rent for the apartment: €450 for one person. A couple is possible but should be agreed in advance.
No pets. No long-term requests, we live in this flat and need it when we are back on the 3rd of January. Also it's not for parties.
