small studio in Heidelberg

My name is Dr. Maryam Najafian Jazi, and I am a scientist at the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) in Heidelberg. I have been living in Heidelberg since 2018, first completing my PhD and now working as a postdoctoral fellow in the same department.

I am 36 years old, originally from Iran, and have also lived in Groningen (Netherlands), Oldenburg, and Marseille (France). Currently, I reside in a flat on Brückenkopfstraße, which I enjoy for its proximity to my workplace and the city center. Unfortunately, due to personal reasons, my landlord needs the flat, and I must move by the end of February 2025.

I am seeking either a studio apartment (approximately 30 square meters) or a shared flat with one person. I plan to stay in Heidelberg for at least another year, though I will also travel frequently to Karlsruhe where my boyfriend lives.

While I can communicate in German, I am still improving my language skills and plan to enroll in a course next year. My current landlord, PD Dr. med. Titus Brinker, is also assisting me in my search and is available as a reference if needed.
