I will be out of the country from 6.Feb.2013 to 3.Mar.2013 and like to shortly rent my room. My room is a studio apartment with built-in pantry kitchen, bathroom and a balcony. The total area is 20 square meter, full-furnished: a sofa-bed (double bed), a coffee machine, a TV, some desks and chairs etc., but no internet. You can freely use my dishes, pots, glasses, cutlery etc. The heating system works fine. The apartment is located at the Richard Schirrmann Strasse, 15 min walk to the Mainz-Uni campus, and there are 2 bus stops and a big REWE (a supermarket chain store) close-by.
There are public washing machines (2.5€ per time) and tumble driers (2€ per time) in the cellar.
Placing the deposit (Kaution) is mainly in case of the loss of the coded house key. Cutting a copy of it does hurt a pocket, but the deposit will certainly be fully returned immediately if everything is fine.
