The room is very spacious, wide with a big window that ensures efficient ventilation during summer. The heater works beautifully during winter, so you won't even need an extra blanket to keep you warm. It is however completely unfurnished, but the rest of the apartment has everything you'll need to feel at home. I would be selling the (minimal) furniture I purchased this year at a throwaway price, so don't hesitate to quote a price when you come to see the room.
The apartment is 2 mins away from the bus stop, which you can literally see from the room's window. All the grocery stores, ATMs, doctors, pharmacies including a restaurant are at 5-7 mins walk from the house. It's very well connected to the University (it only takes 10 mins by bus from the apartment), as there are buses every hour either from Blumenstraße, or from Dudweiler Markt.
WG - life:
Lea and Caro, who currently occupy the other two rooms in the apartment, both study in the University and are fluent in German and English. They are both easy going and fun people to be around, with impeccable cleanliness standards :P Everyone does their own thing, but they are all friendly and accommodating people to live with. There are several occasions when we cook together or play music, and it's really a great place to come back to at the end of the day. It is the best place to study regardless of whether it's day or night because the surrounding area is pristinely quiet at all times. We take turns to clean the kitchen, bathroom and the common area which we do every other week
