I am German but I hope English is fine for everyone :)
My flatmate found a flat with her boyfriend so I am looking for a new roomie :-)) The room is in Moabit/Alt-Moabit (Jagowstrasse) and is available from 1st of August 2024.
It’s a three room apartment, two big rooms, one of them potentially yours (around 20sqm) :) the third room is relatively small and serves mostly as storage and laundry room and has a sleeping couch for guests - but I am open to transform it into a sewing studio (I can't sew yet lol) or something else, it currently does not really live up to its potential haha.
My room has a balcony, too.
The flat is on the third floor in the back house and is therefore pretty quiet.
A bit about myself: I am 28 and I returned to Berlin half a year ago from Copenhagen, where I studied a masters in Strategic Design & Entrepreneurship, now looking for a job. I am not from Berlin originally but lived here already during my Bachelors (Gesellschafts- and Wirtschaftskommunikation at UdK). I enjoy being active, running, sauna, reading, thrifting and going out sometimes :) and most likely I will start to work in a restaurant in Mitte for now.
I value a quiet, cozy and clean home and appreciate if you do too.
The area is not super 'hip' but very close to the Spree, which is beautiful and close to Tiergarten, too. Also, the famous bakery Domberger is around the corner :p
Your room currently has a big bed (180cm) and a wardrobe, which my current flatmate is going to leave - if you like you can take it over, otherwise we can arrange that we get rid of the stuff so you can bring your own furniture. The rest of the flat is fully furnished :) I will attach some pics of the empty room as well as how it currently looks.
