The apartment has two bedrooms, a shared bathroom (bathtub/shower) and a kitchen. There is also a lovely loggia (balcony) facing Körnerpark on the 4th floor, looking over the Kiez. The street is extremely quaint and quiet, with a nice bakery (Taktil) down the street, a cafe (Amalia) on the corner and many nice bars (Flaschenzug). The whole apartment has been renovated and is fully furnished with couches, pillows & sheets, towels and kitchen gear, amongst others. This means that there is plenty of shelf space for clothes and books/objects. Plants are also there for coziness :) NOTE: there’s an assortment of furniture, of which anything can be choosen to use or removed from the room according to your wishes.
Die Wohnung hat zwei Schlafzimmer, ein gemeinsames Bad (Badewanne/Dusche) und eine Küche. Außerdem gibt es einen schönen Loggia-Balkon im 4. Stock mit Blick auf den Kiez und den Körnerpark. Die Straße ist sehr malerisch und ruhig, mit einer netten Bäckerei (Taktil) am Ende der Straße, einem Café (Amalia) um die Ecke und vielen netten Bars (Flaschenzug). Die gesamte Wohnung wurde renoviert und ist voll möbliert, u.a. mit Sofas, Kissen und Bettwäsche, Handtüchern und Küchengeräten. Das bedeutet, dass es viel Platz für Kleidung und Bücher/Objekte gibt. Pflanzen sind auch für die Gemütlichkeit da :) NOTE: Es gibt eine Auswahl an Möbeln, von denen man alles nach Belieben verwenden oder aus dem Raum entfernen kann.
The area is very vibrant as the Nogatstrasse is located just across from Körnerpark. This means that one of the nicest parks in Neukolln is accessible in one minute by foot. There are many cafes and bars around to enjoy during the lively Berlin summer. Schillerkiez is a very hip neighbouring Kiez which also has a lot of restaurants and is connecting Körnerkiez to the Tempelhof Feld which you might already know. The very well connected Ringbahn is just behind the Nogatstrasse, at the Neukolln (U7) stop which is just a stroll from the apartment. The U8 is also there, just a 5 minute walk from the door.
Die Gegend ist sehr lebendig, da die Nogatstraße direkt gegenüber dem Körnerpark liegt. Dies bedeutet, dass einer der schönsten Parks in Neukölln in einer Minute zu Fuß erreichbar ist. Es gibt viele Cafés und Bars in der Nähe, um während des lebhaften Berliner Sommers zu genießen. Der Schillerkiez ist ein sehr angesagter Nachbarkiez, der ebenfalls viele Restaurants hat und den Körnerkiez mit dem Tempelhof Feld verbindet, das Sie vielleicht schon kennen. Die sehr gut angebundene Ringbahn befindet sich gleich hinter der Nogatstraße, an der Haltestelle Neukölln (U7), die nur einen Spaziergang von der Wohnung entfernt ist. Die U8 ist auch dort, nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß von der Tür entfernt.
I’m an architect and have moved to Brussels for a job (trial period) for now which is why I am renting out my room. Paula is now leaving the second room to start a new chapter in Amsterdam, so there is another candidate for the second room as well. There’s no fixed rules in the apartment and everyone does however they feel, and go with the flow. There’s always open communication and moments for being there for one another :)
Ich bin Architekt und bin für einen Job nach Brüssel gezogen (Probezeit), weshalb ich mein Zimmer vermiete. Paula verlässt jetzt das zweite Zimmer, um ein neues Kapitel in Amsterdam zu beginnen, also gibt es auch einen anderen Kandidaten für das zweite Zimmer. Es gibt keine festen Regeln in der Wohnung und jeder macht, was er will, und geht mit dem Strom. Es gibt immer eine offene Kommunikation und Momente, in denen man füreinander da ist :)
